I have what I would call a medium beard... in that it is not super thick but substantial enough. Already owning a Beard Wizard souble sided beard comb, I needed another comb to live at my girlfriend's house and decided to try an alternative to see how they compare.Not having tried many, I only had the original beard wizard comb to compare to and was careful to read other reviews to whittle down to this one that seemed to be acceptable at the price point I wanted to pay.Firstly, some points about packaging style... the comb itself does not come in a box, or ANY sort of outer packaging. This did not bother me as to be honest it is refreshing to see companies not using plastic and unnessary packaging to ship their products, however the chosen cardboard Amazon envelope was laughably oversized for the little comb and meant that, should I have been out, the courier may have had difficulty posting it through.Secondly, the comb has a sticky barcode label placed directly on the comb itself, and mine was partly over the tines themselves, making it a little annoying to remove as it does not peel easily.The comb itself feels really smooth and nice in the hand. The colour and finish is pleasing to look at and the comb feels effective to use in my beard; passing through easily.The tine spacings fall somewhere inbetween the narrower and wider sides of my other (beard wizard) comb. This seems to work well for my hair texture, it may differ for others.As others have mentioned, there is a slight 'wave' in the tines if you look at them end on. It is unknown as to whether this is of any deliberate intention and even how this would help, but even if it is a fault, it does not seem to affect the ability to successfully and neatly comb through my beard.

Wasn't expecting such a great piece of kit but I couldn't have been so wrong. This beard comb is big, really well made and super sturdy and heavy. It feels really solid and has been made from one piece of wood with the brand name engraved into it. Boyfriend is really happy with this, seems like it will last a lifetime.

The mister is very happy wandering about with his beard comb in his pocket, combing away like he's the male equivalent of rapunzel. Nice well made comb, good quality and pefect size.
