Simple Mobile Sim Card with First Month Included : $ 40 Plan

Simcard was delivered as promised. Activation took around 45 minutes after I emailed seller as instructed. This is not a scam as told in an earlier review, but you need to have to seller activate it to get the $40 credit from Simple Mobile. Otherwise Simple will think it is just a clean sim. I got 1 Gig date at 4G according to Simple Mobile to use before throttling the signal on T-Mobile. My phone shows 4G, but I can't tell. I use wireless for the data. You need to set the APN settings to match Simple Mobile for the data. This is a T- Mobile MVNO and your phone must have the radio frequencies to utilize the data. I-phone 4 users even if your phone is unlocked the APN settings wouldn't stick in my phones memory. There is issues with IOS 7 on unlocked ATT phones. Android worked well. This was the best deal I ever had for prepaid. Thanks pages 123. Only drawback, I didn't t know how to port my old number by using the seller to get the credit, but for $11 I can manage.

Works as advertised so far, so its working out to be a great deal. Activation took about 15 minutes (after request) in my case, but almost 24 hrs in my wife's case (both requests made on separate Sunday nights). Shipping time took longer than expected though - about 8 days (came from Chicago, not Maryland). Also, note that this is a generic sim card (and not a Simple Mobile sim card, but once activated, welcome texts came from Simple Mobile as with an actual Simple Mobile sim card) and it is sent by regular mail in a plain envelope with written instructions on it to text them with the sim card # and your zip code. But hey, it worked, so no real complaints here except delivery time (and activation time, in some cases).

Well I am glad I am only out 2 days of chatting and $4.80. I had such high hopes to try out this particular seller.First of all - if you want to tether - you can't. Ok I can live with that.Second - I can't get a signal at my house but can on my other identical phone (and I switched sims to be sure it wasn't the phone)Third - on a T-mo sim (which I have also bought cheap) I could use wifi calling - can't do it with this simFourth - I chatted to no avail with Simple Mobile and even T-MobileFifth - I drove to an area that has a good/strong T-mo signal and the phone would show 5 bars/2g and then immediately go into no service!Sixth - after many chats I was told it was not my sim - and I could verify this by calling the number which I did so voice mail worksSeventh - if you want to get the T-mo sims they are selling make darn sure you get one that tethers (if you need it) - I used the tethering for RV trips so I could use my iPad (no data plan) and netbook etc really cheapNow if anyone has any solutions to any of these issues I will gladly try ANYTHING - I already changed the wap setting which was complicate to me (I'm a senior) which they say you have to do to get data and picture messaging working. Still can't figure out how I got the activation notice so fast with phone number and it worked briefly when I tested it - strange.

great PRODUCT! the simple mobile service is a very good service! I've been using this service for years now. So When my friends asked how I get cell phone service for $40 a month. I explain how simple mobile works. So, I hooked my friend up with her first month (Worth $40) of the service for free. I paid for the SIM card ($3 whole dollars! Big wow!!!), It arrived a few days later, I started her phone, registered the SIM card on line. Now her phone is on! With Unlimited Talk/Text and 2gb of date (Internet). She is as Happy as a Clam! That was a week ago or so, She came to me last night and wants to help her friends out as well. So I asked her, How Many? She replied "ALL OF THEM!!! Although not everybody understands that simple mobile use BOTH T-Mobile and Metro PCS towers. For the West cost means reception pretty much everywhere!PS. For those who keep asking: Can I get reception by the water on the beach? The answer is NOBODY GETS RECEPTION BY THE WATER ON THE BEACH!!! The waves kill the cell phone signals.

The activation number is to someone's home phone :/. They only allow activation's Mon-Sat 11am - 7pm central time AND they didn't answer until about my 7th call at 1pm. If you have the time to waste and not much money this deal is worth the inconvenience but now it seems like you're buying $8-$13 worth of customer care. When they finally answered the lady said she was going to call me back in about 20 mins b/c there were two callers ahead of me. Wish they had an online setup.

Less than Three bucks for the SIM and a month of service, great deal. I was able to activate online at the URL on the sticker that had been placed on the back of the card, was able to make and receive calls in less than ten minutes.I used SIM in a locked T-Mobile LG G2, after I activated SIM card I received a link via text that set the APN, followed directions in the link and reset the phone, once it came back on LTE data was working.The coverage is indistinguishable from T-Mobile prepaid service, so if that works for you, this will work. This would be perfect for sending with a kid on a field drip or summer visit where you want them to feel free to call home and not worry about using prepaid minutes. It could also be a great option for somebody who needs wireless service and doesn't care if the number changes once a month, or even as dirt cheap data, 2GB for less than $3 can't be beat. Activate a few prior to leaving on vacation and let the kids stream all the way to grandma's.
