Works perfect!
Works perfect. Connected an XBOX Series X controller to my XBOX 360 and it works flawless.

Plug and Play Perfection
The Brook Wingman XB2 does exactly what it promises. Within seconds, I was using my Elite Series 2 controller on my Xbox 360 with zero hassle. No lag, no complicated setup — just plug it in and play. The only things to note are that you won't be able to turn on the console with the controller, and occasionally you may need to resync it. But overall, if you've got modern controllers and want to breathe new life into older consoles, this little adapter is a must-have.

Doesn’t work on Series X
Over the past few months i have tried everything with no success on my Xbox Series X. Been in contact with Brooks, tried everything under the sun and all firmware updates. Unauthorized Device still. About 2 weeks ago the company changed their website to Xbox Retro Adapter, and rebranded the packaging. There is no and will be no compatibility with new Xbox systems. Save yourself the headache and $$, get the Mayflash Magic-X, works perfectly on the series. Shame on you Brooks!

finally resolves my biggest issue with the Series X
the series X is a great console but i've never loved the xbox controller (even all the way back to the 360), so i was so excited to find this adapter that lets me use my PS5 dual sense. it works as perfectly as possible, just be aware you won't be able to turn on the xbox with the dual sense (or other non-xbox controller), and you have to connect it with the usb cable every time before you can use it wirelessly (but it does work perfectly wirelessly once you do that). i imagine this is a technical limitation that just can't be overcome with the way the adapter is tricking the xbox into thinking you're using a MS controller. also i think the price is very reasonable compared to other similar devices like the cronus.

Awesome adapter!
I recently started using my Xbox 360 again for some older games that aren't playable on the Series X.Unfortunately the 360's controller has not aged well. Not comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions. Then I stumbled upon this wonderful device via a Reddit post recommendation. This worked right out of the box to sync up with my Elite Series 2 controller and works flawlessly.Whomever came up with the idea for this adapter is smart! This is a great addition for gaming. If you're looking to use current gen controllers on previous gen systems, Brook seems to know what's up!

Ignore bad reviews
The bad reviews are from people who apparently didn't read the damn box or follow directions. I got the same message stating "You cannot use this product on this system", but it still works once you sync the controller to the adapter. Come on people, READ! My only complaint is it does randomly lose connection at times, but not enough to be troublesome. 4/5 stars

Works amazingly
If you own an xbox 360 and are enjoying the nostalgic resurgence in Xbox 360 game popularity, this is a must own. I have used this device with an xbox one controller on my 360 for various games and have had no issues at all. Set up was a breeze and I was gaming again on my 360 in seconds.Highly recommend this for anyone looking to play their xbox 360 with a modern controller.

Kinda Mid
The media could not be loaded. December 2024 update: It's not often but it can disconnect randomly (pretty frustrating when it does), first I thought it was dead batteries but it has done it a few times even after changing batteries. My biggest issue with this is that the sensitivity of the joysticks just feels off, tried to get used to it but playing FPS games just suck, I have to change in-game sensitivity to low to make it somewhat playable. I wish the windows software you use to update the thing had something on it so you can change the sensitivity.Just plugged it in and held both buttons, and then then synced it to my Xbox One controller. I tested it side by side with an Xbox 360 controller and didn't even notice any difference in latency. My only con with it is the blue light that's constantly on. Though, I haven't looked to see if I can disable that or not.Worth the money for how much time I'll be spending playing my library of Xbox and Xbox 360 games.
