NY meets LVSo let’s start with the main two characters Amo and Greta.AmoHe’s very unapologetic about his feelings and really does wear his heart on his sleeve. He knows what he wants and will go after it no matter what the consequences. I think we can thank Luca for the love he has for Aria to have shaped Amo for the way he loves.Greta FalconeThe name Falcone should scare everyone right but not Amo lolll. Well if you’ve read Greta as a child then you’ll understand that she is some what like her uncle Nino a bit. But the grown Greta is a straight talker and loves her pets. I struggled to understand her character a bit I just felt she was all over the place at times.Now their storyWhen Amo and Greta meet there’s a instant connect between the two and the two secretly steal a few moments together. I would have liked it if they had more time together but like I said above Amo knows what he wants.Both families are obviously against this and the two are forbidden to be together. Unusually circumstances take place and know NY and LV are at war. Both miserable away from each other with one drastic event leads to Greta wanting Amo again and the two start their secret affair again.Their affair definitely keeps one on edge thinking they’ll get caught anytime and when they finally do more tragic events happen which finally lead them to marriage.It’s always good to read old characters. Luca was an amazing father to Amo very understanding and you could tell how much he loved Amo.Serafina definitely stood out in this book. I’m not her fan but she as a mother really got tested in this book and what she does for Greta is amazing.Finally the one thing from BSIR part 2 end that had us all confused was finally cleared.Ughhh(lolll)

Best Book in the series and the only one that I liked so far. the BVIF and BSIR weren't good at all but this one was everything and more. I waited so long for Amo and Greta and the wait was worth it. I love the Falcones and Vitiellos so much, thank you cora for writing this amazing book, you really surprised me with this one. Amo and Greta will forever own a piece of my heart, I'm not ready to let them go. definitely my favorite read of the year and befit joined the list of my favorite books fo all time<3

This is one of my biggest book disappointments of the year. Cora Reilly has been deleted from my auto click list. She has written several of my all time favorite mafia books. I loved Bound by Honor-Luca and Aria’s story. I loved Bound by Duty-Dante and Val’s story. I loved Sweet Temptation-Giulia and Cassie’s story. Twisted Pride was another easy 5 star book. My very top-all the stars in the sky book Twisted Emotions-Kiara and Nino’s story. I read many mafia books and Nino remains in the #2 position on my favorite made man book boyfriend list. Dante Santiago from Santiago trilogy holds the number 1 spot. Amo isn’t in the same league as the men on my list. I didn’t like Greta and Amo as a couple or as individuals. I found both characters dull and their story boring. I felt no connection or chemistry between the two. I always enjoy a steamy mafia romance but I found myself skimming the sex scenes they were so bland and repetitive. Many reviewers criticized the cheating but I am never bothered by the cheating in a book. I felt the romance in the books I’ve loved by this writer. There is lust in this story but it lacks all the feels of a romance. I recommend skipping this one and rereading one of the good ones.
