Way better slicer than I expected
Way better slicer than I expected. Here some positive points from the top of my head: really sharp, goof quality of steel (had it for good half a year and no signs of rust or bluntness), rubberised non-slip comfortable to hold handle, easy to rinse under tap and doesn't take a lot of space in my cupboard, nearly forgot - really like the combination of green and white colours. Overall, excellent quality and ergonomic design make this a very nice and functional item in my kitchen.

Very good indeed, ultra sharp cutting blade.
With a little trial and error its quite amazing how well this works, just takes a little practice. Blade is fitted to the clear plastic bit and is incredibly sharp and dependent on what you are cutting may be additional blades on the guide, again finger rippingly sharp.As long as you take it's an excellent device. Remember though , not dishwasher safe.

I BOUGHT THIS AS I HAVE TROUBLE CUTTING FRUIT AND VEG... HANDS DON'T WORK TOO WELL, RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE THAT DOESN'T TAKE UP MUCH STORAGE ROOM AND ISN'T TOO BULKY, SO WHEN I READ SOME OF THE REVIEWS I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THIS ONE A TRY.I HAVE USED IT A FEW TIMES AND REALLY LIKE IT, GREAT TO GET THINGS CUT TO THE RIGHT SIZE AND QUICKLY TOO. STORAGE IS GOOD TOO, EASY TO CLEAN, SO I WOULD SAY GIVE IT A GO. TAKE YOUR TIME AND PRACTICE WITH A CARROT OR ONION AS I FOUND THIS WAS A GOOD WAY TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT.

Bought for OH, he's a chef so uses at work and while I do most of the cooking at home, he does the prep as I have arthritis. He has long been moaning about our lack of a mandolin so purchased this for the sake of marital peace. We usually use processor but for small amounts I concede that this makes less washing up so I am all for that.

Fantastic mandolin
I've had a small mandolin before, the previous one was hopeless, however this was a breeze to use, coped with hard swede easilly, & made short work of all of my pasty ingredients. I was truly delighted with it!!! The guard worked perfectly& on this occasion the 3.5mm tool was perfect. Great product, I love it!!!

Fab fab fab!!
I bought this after watching Sam Faiers making a lemon sole and salad dish with it. Before you judge, it's a brilliant product. I actually bought fennel for the first time in my life as this product made it look so easy to use! So glad I bought this - I swear it's making me eat healthier as making a quick salad is far easier and with hardly any mess. Even my children love the salads now!

Watch your fingers!
Got this but sent back as bit rubbish to be honest. Blades very sharp. But not efficient with certain things like tomatoes or anything on the soft side. Could do with some sort of case to keep it all in, blades and cutty things all over the shop.
