I saw this at a friends house and asked where she got it. She couldn't remember. Took a picture of the back with the brand name and found it online. It is perfect for my mother who is unable to walk or get around on her own. She was always asking "What time is it? What day is it? She was often confused as to whether it was am or pm, especially when she wakes up from a nap or in the middle of the night. Bought the two pack, one for her bedroom and one for the living room. She is able to read the large print from a distance, even without her glasses. So easy to use. Just plug it in. The correct date/time info appeared within a few seconds. You can hang it on the wall or place it on a table/shelf/nightstand, etc. Now she looks at the clock and can see for herself what time of day/night it is. Love that it also indicates that it is morning, afternoon, night, evening, etc. This has greatly reduced her confusion about time of day and day of the week. It has also helped eliminate her waking one of us up in the middle of the night insisting it is time for us to help her get up for the day. Everyone is sleeping better. I plan to order another one for myself, I won't have to get out my reading glasses and look at my phone for the date anymore. Easy to see from a distance.

We purchased two (2) of these for our mother. We put one in her bedroom and one in the TV area. She absolutely loves these clocks and says they are the best gift anyone can receive. The clocks are not that big. They measure around 10 to 12 inches wide by around 6 inches tall. The light / digital readout is just right and extremely clear. The clocks have several options that you can set including an auto dim feature that will dim the clock around 7 PM until around 7 AM. You can also turn this feature off and keep the clock at its brightest level all day and night. If you are looking for a desk clock or a wall clock that won't break the bank, you just found it. These clocks are great for all ages including children. The clocks also have a small hole on the back so if you wanted, they can be hung on the wall. This clock was just what we needed for my 95 yr old dad. He was starting to confuse nighttime with early morning when it was still dark out. We caught him going out at night to get his morning newspaper. I actually ordered 2 clocks, one for his TV room and one for his bedroom. The clock was easy to setup using the instructions included You can either set it for regular time or military time. The letters and numbers are large, the screen is bright but you can dim it if need be. It displays the day of the week, date, time, and whether it is morning, afternoon, night or evening. Having it display what part of the day it is, has been such a relief. He now knows just by looking at the clock that is either morning or evening if it happens to be dark out. The clock offers other features that we haven't utilized such as 4 or 5 different alarms that you can set at different times. We don't need that particular feature at this time but I am sure that if we did it would come in handy especially for someone who might have to take medication at a particular time. I've bought ones with 7-segment LEDs in them, they're nice, about the same price as this is, actually the LED version is slightly more expensive than a single pack of this. When I got this, and saw the claims of "high definition LCD display" I was skeptical, as a man who surrounds himself with LCDs and OLEDs of varying resolutions. Currently in my living room alone I have almost 20 devices with high resolution displays. I'm a tech geek. Not only is the display on this really good, but the viewing angles are also very decent. I'm looking at mine right now that I have set up above my kitchen fireplace and I can read it, with a little trouble (but that's due to me not wearing my glasses).Pros:-ACTUALLY decent display, don't know the resolution, but if I had to guess, it's definitely above 480p, maybe 1024x768. The colors aren't amazing but it only displays four colors; black, white, blue and yellow. It clearly can do more, but without fully hacking it, I don't see how to force it to do more colors.-At $72 for two, you're not going to find a better price, and really makes them interesting propositions for hacking into Raspberry pie builds if that's your thing, another reason why I wanted to give these a try.-Helps me keep track of the days. As a young man (32 years old) who decided to retire early, you quickly lose track of the days, and yes you could use your phone and whatnot, but this is always on and doesn't require me having to fight with my phone's crumby face unlock in the morning. I can see it from across the room (which is about 35ft) or partially from my chair in the family room (about 15ft and 30 degrees off axis).Cons:-Not many, since you could run this off of a USB power bank if you wanted to, since it requires a very small power draw (5V 1A, meaning most modern laptops even could power it without issue), weirdly, I think it's not the most intuitive thing to use and is very clunky. Glad to see the 2020 version put the controls on the side of the device instead of the back where you constantly have to glance back to adjust your finger placement on the controls again.-The 2020 version fixes the stand issue, Glad it has it, but it's a bit of a fight to get it in position, since you have to pull the plastic off the metal rod slightly to position it, then slide the plastic back down the rod, to stow it away. but it's very nice that it has one in the first place, and really made it easy for me to place it on my fireplace ledge.Conclusion:The company changed names and put out a modern more color focused version for about $60. So for $38 it's not a bad price. I don't use the alarm features, but for the price, it does what I need and does it better than I could have imagined. And it's one of the rare instances where the double pack on amazon is cheaper than buying two individually.

The package arrived before the expected date. The clocks were easy to set up. They are easy to read and understand for someone like my aunt who has severe cognitive impairment.

If it’s a two pack why did I only get one and it’s not even white and the stand is broken? Not worth over $109 for what I got.
