The clip is so flimsy it doesn’t really match the required weighted movement of the arm even if you over tighten the clip which at that time it feels it will break. So I tried using the base but it also couldn’t hold the lamp when extended. The lamp overall is small

Quite a good product, the base is sturdy but I'm using the clamp, which is very sturdy its self, works as described, all you need is a Bulb, I'm using a LED bulb with remote that works just fine with this.

Was easy to assemble, good quality lamp. Metal feels a bit thin but this is expected for such a cheap price. The base is generously weighted, so it doesn't topple over. I'm yet to try the clamp, but given how the rest of the lamp is I can't see there being any problems with it. The shade fixes on a little losely, but sits fine once assembled. One downside is there wasnt much protective packaging for the lamp, so a little bit of the paint had scratched off the shade when it arrived (I assume from being transit with other deliveries). This isn't a huge problem though, as you'd have to be looking right at the bulb to be able to see it. Works great with my smart bulb, and overall happy with this purchase as I struggled to find a 60w lamp in department stores that would fit the bulb specs.
