Worked very well opening and closing the gate. Be sure to support the post square before you install the screws. Holds up well with pavers.

Installed on wood gate to offset wood door weight. Installation is straight forward and if the caster orientation needs to be modified, the process is fairly simple with basic tools with included instructions. The only gripe and reason for the 4 stars is rust developed in a fairly short amount of time after installation.Overall satisfied and will purchase again.

These casters work great for adding stability to my gates. They are heavy duty, great quality and work well. I really like the way they attach with the corner bracket screwing in on 2 sides for added support.The only thing you really need to keep in mind is to get the correct left or right suit wheel, based on if you want the wheel to be on the inside/hinge side of the gate or outside front of the gate. Right Suit is for the caster being placed on the inside left side of the gate where the hinge is on the right side. Left Suit is for the wheel caster being placed on inside right side of the gate where the hinge is on the left side.

I liked the rugged simplicity of the wheel and bracket design. It quickly mounted to my gate without any issues. It should be mentioned that the wheel is on the small side making it more suitable on a hard surface like asphalt, pavers or concrete. It's going to drag a bit on grass or dirt. But still, it serves the purpose intended. Your gate will be less likely to sag and it will open more freely than it would without it.

I really like the construction of these wheels. The only problem is that both wheels are oriented the same way and you have to hammer out a pin to reorient the wheels to go on the opposite door. Why offer two wheels if they aren’t meant to go on opposite doors of the same gate?

I wanted to create a gate into my back yard that was 5’ wide and rather heavy to put that type of load on the hinge post so I added this wheel and it works perfectly now and takes all the weight off the post the hinges are mounted in. Saved me hundreds of dollars having someone come out and install a new gate. Very satisfied.
