Look, Amazon has a knack of having products with price jumps on an almost daily basis. So my advice is to buy this when it goes below $16. When it's in the $14 range, it's even better, but $16 is my cut off because at that price, it beats anything Walmart or Costco offers. Don't compare it to the really flimsy or Lilliputian cheapo plasticware that you can get in any dollar store. You know the type. The ones that are tiny and snap in two if you stick them in anything sturdier than jello. These are the exact opposite. They feel good in the hands, are sturdy enough to use with almost any food item without fear of breaking, and strong enough to wash and reuse if that's what you want. Also (and this is important to me) they didn't react with food. Sometimes, even the sturdy plasticware like Dixie Ultra, will react with certain food items. I noticed it most when eating anything with a hot tomato sauce (lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs etc). After everything that came out about BPA, I stay away from plastic products which shows a noticeable appearance/texture change when applied to heat or acidic foods. So far, I haven't noticed the AmazonBasics brand reacting to anything so that alone is an improvement in my book.

They are so sturdy, superior to anything I've purchased over the last 4 years. Definitely will buy again because nothing seems to phase them, knifes actually cut, spoons work for hot soup & they are easy for my arthritic hands to hold & large enough for my grandchild's hands to grip without a struggle to control their food.

I ordered this because I think my husband and sons keep taking my regular cutlery to work and then forget to bring it home so I'm losing my forks and spoons because I have no plastic cutlery they say so I ordered this instead. This is really nice and sturdy plastic set for them to grab (if they remember) to take to their jobs for their lunches or dinners. The knives have a serrated edge to them and all of the items are not flimsy, I hope they bring them back for reuse because they look dishwasher safe too. I have 60 knives and the spoons and forks divided evenly between the rest which only makes sense. I think this would be great to take to the beach, a vacation home, RV or BBQ.

For plastic cutlery, this set from Amazon is the best deal you can find. The forks, knives, and spoons are of premium quality, similar to what you would find by Costco brand or at Wal-Mart, however these come at a much cheaper price. I'm in college and use plastic forks a lot, and I use plastic spoons and knives occasionally. I bought these towards the start of the year and I would be surprised if I need to buy more before the year ends. I especially like how the set has more forks and less knives, as I definitely use forks more than anything else. This would also be an extremely useful set to purchase for any event where you'll be using plastic cutlery. I'm sure this would save a lot of money. Overall, I highly recommend this set if you need plastic-ware, whether its for an event or just daily use.

I wanted a lot of pieces, I got that. Probably would not order this item again. Would be better if they were a harder plastic. Knives-good size, fairly sturdy, work ok. Forks-good size, they work ok but twist sideways if you are trying to cut through even soft food. Spoons-good size, sturdy for cold foods, bends backwards a little because of the odd bend in the handle, if you are stirring a bowl of hot soup.

This cutlery is pretty strong and doesn't break easily. These pieces are not at all like the flimsy utensils you get at fast-food restaurants which are pretty useless. These can be washed and re-used if you so desire, but there are inexpensive enough that if your goal is not to wash dishes, go for it! This quantity will definitely see you through a number of informal summer parties. They are also very useful if you have an invalid or handicapped person in your household. You can put the little disposable cups of applesauce or fruit next to their bed with a baggie of these spoons. That way, they can have a quick, healthful snack to take their meds or if they get hungry during the night. I will definitely be buying more of these.

I like to keep some disposable cutlery in the house for the kids, adding moist food to the dogs dry kibble and those impromtu leftover reheats right after I empty the dishwasher. These are great! I wanted forks, knives and spoons to cover all my bases and didn't want cheap flimsy cutlery that would break trying to stir a dish or stab a crouton or grilled chicken from a salad. I also appreciated the number of pieces that came in the box. I will be set for quite a while so it's one less thing to think about when making a grocery list. I keep them in a separate cutlery tray in the drawer just below my regular flatware.

Bought to use at our camper trailer next summer since our idiot government is going to ban all plastic utensils in 2022. The price on these was good and also like how the forks, knives and spoons are in differing quantities that match actual use. We always use way more forks then a few less knives and even less spoons. so with other kits we always run out of forks first. This set ensures an even use and should last an entire year or more. The only negative, and it's not a big deal, is that they arrive in an industrial cardboard box with the utensils in plastic bags, so will need to get some containers to put them in, but we'll likely take them to the trailer in batches anyway, so it all works out.

stock up for bbq's.. . fairly strong cutlery that doesnt bend/break. I mean if you WANTED to break them of course you can. decent deal for me and decent quality
