I bought my first one to replace my broken one, I looked everywhere and bought a few flimsy ones but this is brilliant. It squeezes well and is easy to clean using the brush thing in the handle. I’ve like it so much I’ve bought a second!

You won't find a better garlic musher - it's so good you can pop the cloves in without shelling them if you're in a hurry (though you lose some of the lovely oil by doing this).However - this is aluminium, and like all aluminium, it shouldn't be put in the dishwasher, since the coating will wear away, exposing the aluminium which will degrade quickly.Avoid scraping it out with metal spoons since this will erode the anodised coating.A quick run under the tap is fine unless you've handled it with contaminated hands.This is our third, and unlike the previous two we've had no problems since we've washed it by hand.

I love growing and eating garlic. I don't like peeling garlic. I've used this to very easily crush out garlic without even taking the papery skin off. Now, I don't think that's the chefy way of dealing with it and you can easily chop garlic, which I do most of the time, but this is a great time-saver (or frustration saver). It's sturdy, simple and presses the garlic out in very small pieces. It's quite easy to clean, especially with the little plastic piece that pushes through the holes, which also has a small extension to scrape out the papery skins or any other residue. Some of these feel cheap, but not this one (I finally broke the other one I had and this replaced it and has done really well).

This gadget is great! No messing with removing the skin, it really does let you just put whole clove in and squeeze through, with just the garlic pulp coming thru the holes. You do have to squeeze quite hard sometimes but the handle is comfortable to hold when pressing. Dropped a star due to the fact that after only 5 uses 2 of the prongs on the little cleaning gadget are bent. This needs to be made stronger. Still very happy with how this performs though & would recommend it to save time.

Having read all reviews, positive and negative, I was a bit concerned that I was wasting my money but I am thrilled with my new garlic press!!!!Not only does it work really really well (No need to peel, I put three cloves in and voila, press easy to squeeze, garlic came out easily and only left the empty skins behind - not a load of garlic- in the press), BUT I also found the blue plastic gadget brilliant for cleaning out the empty skins and pushing out any tiny bits of garlic left in the holes. Some reviewers say a press isn't neceessary but to really get the break down of cells required to release all the flavour does require a good bit of mashing, not just fine slicing or to be bashed with the side of a knife blade so I would definitely go ahead and buy one....I NEVER review items as I am a bit lazy but this is so good I had to!!! If it breakes I will report back but so far I love it. And what a good price too - I also looked at one that cost £35 but it got some terrible reviews too so I went with this one and very glad I am too.

I was looking for a garlic press as the one I had was a basic one and was difficult to press a large one and hard to wash it after use. I thought this looks great and bought it. First, it accommodates fairly large garlic pieces. Second it is very easy to clean. The garlic pieces came out of it is a good small sizes and it squeezes almost all the garlic meat. It had an only skins left inside. The red plastic attachment really helps clean these skins out. It is sturdy and light. I can trust on it. I can highly recommend it for anyone looking for a garlic press.

Bought this to replace an old traditional steel garlic press but have found it doesn't work well, leaves lots of garlic both inside and out and almost impossible to get all the crushed garlic into whatever I'm cooking
