Super easy to set up. I don't think it had instructions even. Timer goes off right when I wanted it too and it really comes out when it does. Real good quality. It's been more than useful with my irrigation.I had to change out the faucet because it was leaking so I would check that before getting this fella.

These pumps a step above what is available at home centers. Does dnot leak. Installs right first time. Easy easy easy to program.

Purchased the first unit on 5/15 and returned it for replacement on 6/13 due to getting a continuous "Water Hammer" (pipe vibration) when unit shut down. Received the replacement unit on 6/14. Set it up on 6/15 and this unit was leaking from the top connection to the hose bib even after numerous attempts to rectify by replacing screened washer with new ones and plumbers teflon tape.Returning this unit for a complete refund..A Totally disappointment in this product when advertised as there premium model

Works as it should, seems durable - makes watering much easier.

Ive had close to a dozen automatic water timers and have lost most from some sort of crack or leak forming over time. Usually the hose gets knocked around and puts pressure on it causing thin internal plastic parts to crack (usually near the hose or spigot connections, which are metal on this one, so Im happy with that. When I saw this one, i decided to give it a try since it’s “pro duty” and will hopefully last a little longerUpon receiving it I decided to open it up to inspect why this one is considered “pro duty”. The internals are all pretty basic with the back casing attached to the front with 5 screws. The compartment for the two AA batteries seems to seal well to keep out water. And aside from the thin wiring attached with some hot glue, nothing really alarmed me. I will say that the part that typically breaks (between the two end fittings that contains the mechanism to open and close the valves) is still plastic like others, but seems to be a little thicker plastic with four ribs on the outside (visible in pictures) to reinforce it. Aside from the metal connections and slightly reinforced plastic valve column, im not sure what all makes this pro duty though. Once reassembled, i hooked it up and there weren't any issues there. Easy to set the timers and no leaks so far. Overall the build quality seems better than most but admittedly I was hoping for a little more metal parts and reinforcement at the collars but again, it seems slightly better than most so time will tell if it’s adequate. I’ll try to update this if there are any issues in the future.

Brass is way to go work great no leaks

Due to recent lawn repair for cable work, we got a section of new sod. Happens to be dry season in SoFlo which is ultra hot and dry this year. Irrigation pump died and it’s not really worth replacing. Sod immediately started to die so I setup a hose end sprinkler which has been a pain to remember to turn on/off each evening. After looking up options for timers, I decided a simple mechanical wasn't really much of an improvement and we certainly don’t need a high end wifi type, seemed like a basic digital type is best bang for buck for simple needs and this unit might be worth spending the extra since it’s the only one I found with brass inlet and outlet which will hold up to the extreme uv exposure here better than plastic. Figure we will need it at new house later this year to water the new lawn so hoping the rest of it holds up as well as the brass fittings. Anyway, unit feels well made, took all of maybe 5 min to setup. Instructions are not really needed but available online. Just attached it 10 min ago, used manual button to set water flow and it seems fine. Manual on/off worked without any problem, has a bit of a delay but it’s only seconds. Will see how it does on auto in a couple hours. Update: it came on and shutoff just as I programmed. Certainly appears to be a well made timer. No leaks at either end, just double check the washers and maybe add a second washer if a fitting doesn’t tighten up before the point of bottoming out.

Easy to set up, runs like a charm. Several others look similar, but reliability can be a question. This one works.
