Totally worth it. Get it.
So far. Works really well. It's been baked in the sun, no issues. It's been through massive thunderstorms including torrential downpours. Still working. Yes, I would recommend. My only wish would be remote functions (thread, matter) but at this price I can be okay with in. No leaks. Very easy to set up. Turns on/off as it should. I have it hooked up to a lawn sprinkler and drip watering manifold for my potted plants. Totally worth the money. Get it if you're thinking about it. Ad-hoc in the moment watering is very easy, just press the "water now" button pick the amount of time, press "ok".

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this timer bc I read reviews and recommendations and this timer had the features I needed and seemed easy to use and many people were happy with this product.

Simple and good quality
These work great, and much more consistently than the Husky brand ones I replaced with these.Easy to install and very simple to program the watering days and times.

Poor workmanship..
Purchased the first unit on 5/15 and returned it for replacement on 6/13 due to getting a continuous "Water Hammer" (pipe vibration) when unit shut down. Received the replacement unit on 6/14. Set it up on 6/15 and this unit was leaking from the top connection to the hose bib even after numerous attempts to rectify by replacing screened washer with new ones and plumbers teflon tape.Returning this unit for a complete refund..A Totally disappointment in this product when advertised as there premium model

Does not mitigate pressure. Just what you expect from Rain Bird. No leaks and robust hardware.

It's summer time
Super easy to set up. I don't think it had instructions even. Timer goes off right when I wanted it too and it really comes out when it does. Real good quality. It's been more than useful with my irrigation.I had to change out the faucet because it was leaking so I would check that before getting this fella.
