Such a beautiful book, can't wait to start writing in it. It really is a treasure you will want to keep.

Beautiful book

These are excellent books. They take most fountain pen inks. It is possible that some very 'wet' writers may bleed through.Generally speaking though fine and medium point nibs are fine. I think the cover and closing clip in this particular notebook is really fun. You'd think that any contents would be words of great import instead of', at least in my case, lists of 'things to do', passwords for various internet sites which are so difficlt to remember. In my case none of the sites names are listed with their particular password - I have to remember which site belongs to which passsword. which is slightly easier,but not without its own problems! Plus lots of other guff. Anyway, enough of rambling on aboút my contents. Back to the book itself. The paper is very good quality and the lines are not so heavy that if you want to add sketches or diagrams they will not ruin your artistic efforts. There is also afairly substantial 'pocket' attached to the back inside cover for other bits and pieces. Althogh mine is so stuffed full of this and that it"s beginning to separate from the cover. This is my problem and not anything to do with the book itself.So, finally, This and other varieties from same producer are really nice. The covers are beautifuly decorated and would make excellent presents or as a treat for yoursself.

BEAUTIFUL. I have 3 other paper blanks notebooks and my sister has 1, we use them to keep diaries. They’re expensive but perfect for something like that as you want it to be special and you’re gona keep it forever + take good care of it!This notebook is stunning! In the picture on Amazon it looks really vibrant blue but in person it’s a more muted blue which makes it look like it just came straight out of a time capsule or old vintage library, so if you’re into that (like I am) you’ll love it 😍😍 also I saw people say it’s smaller than they thought, keep in mind this midi size is smaller than A5, I’ve added a debit card size card in photos for reference.5/5, met all of my expectations. Just make sure you do some research online before purchasing paper blanks as they are expensive, and sometimes photos on third party websites can be a bit deceiving!

I love this notebook. I bought it because I'm on a training course and have to take notes. I generally have horrendous hand writing. So the idea was, if I buy a really nice notebook it'll force me to be neat. Well that idea's worked!Why four stars not five? It is beautiful but not quite as stunning as in the amazon picture. I think someone's ramped up the saturation and brightness on the picture. And, nice though it is, the price is pretty ridiculous. It would make a really lovely gift.All that said, I'll be buying more in this range.

I gifted this vintage journal to my partner for his Islamic studies and he loved it a lot. He is into the designs of the medieval era, so this medieval looking journal was ideal! Very beautiful and has a vintage look to it!

Got this for my boyfriend to journal his thoughts while he is going through a tough phase in his life. I wanted him to have something that made him feel like he was writing something important for himself by having a nice book to write in. I was really happy with this purchase. It's exactly as it looks in the pictures and the paper quality is great. It has also motivated my boyfriend to write so a good 5 star rating from me.
