This review is for weishan USB C Cable, 6.6 ft long, $14 on amazonI have a shelf on a family room rack where I keep several hobby-related devices that occasionally require recharging of the batteries. It’s not practical for me to move the items over to the nearby 120 VAC outlet so I decided to run a USB ‘extension’ cable between the outlet and shelf. This 6.6 foot long weishan USB-C cable has USB-C on one end and USB-A on the other, but they do provide a USB-A female to USB-C male adapter which will turn the cable into USB-C male to USB-C male.A couple of my devices get recharged from a USB-C cable but I also have a few RC devices that are looking for a USB-A female (like you would find on a USB 5VDC charger). For those I have ordered a pair of USB-A female-to-female adapters (SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Coupler Adapter Type A Female to Female Bridge Extension Connector by Oxsubor, 2PCS, $7 on amazon).

Nothing much to say but it’s as expected

My partner is very hard on cables, so I got this for a few reasons. It's transmission speed is very fast and will support multiple devices with a very stable bandwidth. It charges up to 100W in both directions for fast charging. But the most important factor in choosing this cable is it's perceived durability. It's a premium product and the braiding is thicker than other braided cables we've owned. Weishan says they tested the cable more than 5,000 insertions and more than 10,000 bends and it held up without any issues. For someone who seems to have the ability to keep destroying cables, that alone is worth the price of admission. Time will tell of course, but I'm impressed with the quality of the cable and it's capable of handling just about any USB C to USB C scenario you could possibly need.

For those of you that remember what it was like when HDMI cables first became a thing you remember that they were trying to sell little three foot four foot HDMI cables for 60 70 80 dollars whatever they could get telling you all these are gold-plated and these are that and these are this but what you weren't telling but what they weren't telling you is that the cheapest one will work just as good as the most expensive one and in most cases with thunderbolt I think it's almost the same but the exception that they say some of them have some electronics in them that boost the signal but that still doesn't justify 30-35 for a 3-ft cable . I feel like it's price gouging

my elgato wave 3 doesn't maintain power when you hit the mute button it turns off. Ordered a cable from elgato after ordering this one. using this as a cellphone charger

I was struggling to find a cable to work with an HD60S capture card I got second hand. With other cables I’d get audio but no video. This one, everything just works!!
