Starlight Peppermint Mints | 2 Pound Bag - Approx. 150 Count | Hard Candy | Individually Wrapped

I actually love to drop a couple of these into my dark roast morning coffee with a generous splash of French vanilla. The only thing I don't like about these is that some of them are difficult to unwrap. Some come open in 5-6 seconds, while sometimes it takes 45 seconds... weird, huh? (Weird that I time myself too... I know, my wife tells me...lol).

THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I HAVE ORDERED THESE FROM THIS SELLER. THE 1ST TIME THE WRAPPERS WERE HARD TO GET OFF BUT POSSIBLE. THESE HOWEVER ARE HORRIBLE. THE WRAPPERS STICK TO THE MINTS LITERALLY LIKE THEY ARE GLUED ON. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OFF AND WHEN YOU DO FINALLY GET THEM OFF YOU GET LITTLE PIECES OF PLASTIC IN YOUR MOUTH FROM SPOTS WHERE IT TEARS. AND WOULDNT COME OFF. I CONTACTED SELLER A WEK AGO WITH NO RESPOND. TAKING FOR GRANTED THAT ITS A FOOD ITEM AND CANT BE RETURNED SO JUST TOOK MY $10. I WILL BE CONTACTING AMAZON ABOUT THIS SELLER.

It seems odd to update a review on candy...but fair is fair. I tried these again several days later and they tasted better! Not great but definitely better. Perhaps my taste buds were off when first tried. The wrappers are difficult to remove.These peppermints are horrible! Actually they are beyond horrible! They have no peppermint flavor at all. Don't waste your money.

I've bought these five previous times from the same seller. Other than the wrappers being a bit fussy, and usually about a dozen that are unwrapped, the quality has been good. However, the last batch was definitely stale. They were a bit soft and sticky, lacking the smooth feel and solid crunch when bitten, and did not have the usually bright and strong peppermint taste. The taste was a bit odd. I love peppermint candy and k ow when it is stale. I thought it was a few, but after 10 or so,I realized that I got a bad batch. It was kind of gross so I threw them in the trash. I gabe a four star because five previous batches were good so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I will give them second chance, but must admit to being hesitant. They had to know the batch was bad.

Can't find these in the stores so Amazon to the rescue!

Great to find in the midst of the peppermint shortage. And WHY is that???
