When I need some peace and quiet, I put a treat in my dog’s KONG toy and he’s happy trying to get it out! He loves it!

The KONG rubber toy is hands down the toughest dog chew toy we have found; and trust me, we have gone through many....just check out some of my prior dog toy reviews for photographic proof of Shelby's prodigious toy-destroying abilities. Shelby is our 55lb power chewing black lab and the KONGs are the only chew toys or treat holder that she has not destroyed in most a horrific and eviscerating manner. We have purchased the red KONG and the black KONG in the large size (KONG Extreme Large ); the red one was fine until she reached full size then the black one had to be purchased because the black KONG's rubber is a bit stronger and more dense. We generally will buy these KONG treats and give our dog one inside a KONG every day or two. Initially a KONG stuffed with one of these treats would occupy about an hour's worth of chew time, which was especially good while puppy training since it was the KONG being chewed and not my shoes or furniture legs. She has since gotten very adept at getting the KONG treat out by vice-gripping the entire KONG with her powerful jaws and crushing the treat within so the pieces can fall out of the bottom hole. It now takes ol' Shel about ten minutes to get the treat out but she still enjoys them immensely. These treats have decent ingredients and do not make a mess. One caveat, the peanut butter ones can be an allergy issue for family members and visitors because they will get carried around the house by the dog...we stick with the liver ones and bacon ones for that reason.I attached a picture of Shelby going to town on a large sized KONG Extreme stuffed with a KONG treat for size reference. Friandises très bien, ça occupe ma chienne berger allemand pendant de très longues heures et elle adore (et nous aussi ce qui nous permet de ne pas être obligé de la surveiller pendant ce temps là et elle nous donne pas ses jouets pour jouer non plus ^^ (elle a que 16 mois))

Unless you plan on mixing these treats in something before putting in the Kong don't bother ordering. The bag of treats came smashed with the side blown out.
