Very nice lovely easy to cook value for money for sure had to look up how to cook the texture is nice the taste is lovely

Simply not good enough.
Not good! What frustrates the most about black pudding you get these days is the amount of wheat flour. It’s should be barley and or oats with blood, pork, pork fat and seasoning/spices. Not difficult (one would think) but then the temptation to use cheap filler ingredients creeps in and you end up with claggy, cloying, floury, bland black pudding which is lacking the classic flavour and completely incorrect texture. Do it the old fashioned way or don’t bother. You think the French ever compromise when making cheese or wine? Of course they don’t. That principle should also apply regardless of what food you’re making.

Traditional black pudding.
It is a flavoursome pudding with traditional ingredients, but not too much fat. Delicious and highly nourishing.

Claggyź and very largely tasteless
This was by far the worst black pudding I’ve ever had. It was hard even when thoroughly cooked in a stew after browning, The texture was horrible, sticking to the roof of the mouth; heavy and very uninteresting with tiny pieces of something not quite identifisble but tough found occasionally but it didn’t event relieve the boredom of eating it. This is such a shame because I bought this disaster together with a really great white pudding which I highly recommend from thecsame supplier; so my add Vice would be to enjoy their white pudding and buy the black in a supermarket.
