Easy to install

It does the job, need deeper box but working

What I failed to realise was once pretty much any cable is plugged into the back of this, it extends back way too far for any reasonable installation. With SOME ribbon style cables it MIGHT JUST fit it a 45mm box, but most are too tall even for that, and none are going to fit the more common 35mm box. This could simply be solved by making the internal cable exit at 90 degrees. Push the connector to one side of the box and there would be plenty of room. CAT6 installations could be made really easy with this type of plate and ribbon style cables, it just needs a bit of intelligent thinking through!

Limits connection to 100 Mbps. Do not buy. Swapping it out for the existing extender I was previously using, I get >950Mbps with the same cables, confirming that the port is the limiting factor

The amount of space needed at the back was massive, it would need a large box fitting. i wish i had read the other reviews before ordering. I could not use this item.

Product promises gigabit connection (1000 mbps) through it but no where do they admit it's actually 100mbstested with cat6 and cat8 cables, connection is always bottlenecked by this outlet
