When I received this product, I actually could not find the manual (it seemed to be a one off case), but I referred to the product page again and highly recommend following the tips listed to ensure the jellyfish swim properly! It was very easy to setup, just adding water, the jellyfish, and a couple drops of any dish soap before stirring.My personal tip is that if it seems like the jellyfish do not swim properly at first, try waiting a couple hours after following all of the steps and tips, as this was my experience and the product worked completely as advertised after a couple hours. The lid does well in preventing any spills so huge plus there, but the product itself is plenty sturdy. Also I really love how parts of the jellyfish glow under certain color settings-- my favorite is the setting that constantly changes colors!One of the best things about this lamp is probably that it is USB powered and doesn't have to take up an entire outlet which are limited in my house (currently it's connected to my laptop at my desk and is very relaxing to watch during work). All in all, great product, easy to set up, and makes for an excellent gift or desk decoration!

The media could not be loaded. This is so cute and I love staring at it. It makes my desk feel super cozy too. For those of you that are having problems with the jellyfish staying stuck at the top; add a little bit of dish soap or laundry detergent and it makes them float all the way to the bottom. The media could not be loaded. Make sure to use distilled (bottled) water to prevent minerals from accumulating, which can reduce the lifespan of the motor. I filled up the tank all the way up to prevent bubbles from getting trapped under the jellyfish, which would cause them to get stuck at the top and not float around. When you do that, be mindful that when you screw on the cap, water will spill out, so lay out some towels around it. Also, the cap will introduce some air into the tank when it's filled to the top, because it sinks into it to create a seal. There's no way around that but there isn't enough of an air gap created to make the jellyfish "catch" bubbles. 8 can't figure out how to set it into "breathing" mode, and the manual doesn't explain it, hence, the one star off. Hopefully, this thing will last a bit. I read a lot of reviews that said it stopped working after a few months. I'll update this review if it does

I’m 100% satisfied with my purchase! I freaking love this jellyfish lamp, I use it every night before bed. Pro tip: follow the instructions! Including the dish soap drops. And then WAIT. It took a week or two for all my jellies to finally swim up and down but it happens! Be patient and keep using the tool to knock the bubbles off of them. You’ll love this lamp, I know it.

This had a lot of features I liked. Having multiple water speeds was nice, and the light colors and they way they could be set to automatically change was nice. Now, after about 6 months, it quit working. I press the button to turn it on, and sometimes it flickers and sometimes it doesn't. If I can get it to turn on after a lot of button pressing, it doesn't stay on. This is super-disappointing. I had a really cheap one previously that quit working, but for the price it wasn't surprised. This one cost enough that I expected it to last a while. I mean, it's not that complicated - just a light and water pump.I really liked watching the little creatures moving up and down and now I'm contemplating whether I should get another one that's more expensive, or whether to just give up on the whole idea.

Everyone saying the jelly fish stay at the top, don’t forget to stir them with the provided rod to remove trapped air bubbles AND don’t forget to add the detergent.The different light colors are pretty amazing as well. Red and Blue show best in the photos. Green is fabulous too but doesn’t show as well in the provided photo. There are several other colors or plain white light. Going to add coral aquarium background to complete the effect.Was bought to gift to my son but bought a different lamp to better suit his Star Wars interests so I’m keeping this one for myself. May purchase more for other rooms in my house.

Works great minus two important details: the dimmer function doesn't work and it emits a soft, high pitch sound, similar to how tinnitus sounds. Those who are sensitive may get headaches from it like myself, but others may not be too bothered. Otherwise it's beautiful.v

White base one. I've only had this a few hours but had to say it works great! Followed directions. If you read directions, the soap coats the jellyfish so they don't get bubbles. I did, for now, took out the larger jellyfish. to give the 2 more room to bounce around. They go from top to bottom so nicely. With 7 colors to rotate too. Love the speed function and the lighting functions. Great product! No problems so far 😍

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my daughter’s room. It is so calming and lovely as a night light. She loves the jelly fish swimming around calls them ballet dancers. I find it really calming as well when waiting for her to fall asleep.

My daughter loves this. It has been permanently on since the purchase. Surprisingly mesmerising to watch. Buy now you will not be disappointed.A selection of lights are ideal and make a great ambient light for when sleeping

I bought this as a birthday gift.The descriptions says "Power and Plug Description: Corded Electric" but I did not realise that means only the USB cord was included.It was a bit disappointing that the person could not use it straight away after opening.

This is a fun lamp for my boy. there are many different colour settings, but his favourite is where it changes between all of them.Easy to use. Does what you expect. Would recommend.

This is a lovely lamp but has one frustrating point in that it has to be manually turned on so if you want to set it on a smart plug it won’t switch on as you have to press the button . I would not have bought it if I had known this
