Are you travelling somewhere where space is a premium and you don’t want to take up all your luggage room with big fluffy towels? The Light Load Towels are multi-functional, yes you can use them as a travel towel, a sun shield, a head and shoulder cooler, insulator, a first aid supplement and more. Weighing in at only 9 grams each the weight of 100 feathers, you could be forgiven for forgetting that you have them. The Ideal ultra-lightweight towels, are also great for camping, cyclists who can slip them into their jersey back pockets, for people going to the gym before work or distance runners wiping the sweat away. Not worth it
These are glorified j cloths but smaller. You have to soak in water to allow them to expand but they take ages to dry and at the size of a flannel then dont dry much, then are wet for ages. The second one is now in my first aid kit unused. and the first one is now a duster. A Rather expensive mistake. The delivery was next day though so that deserves the star but the j cloth doesn't.

Excellent for its purpose
I recently bought 2 of these towels to use when out canoeing as pretty much a last-ditch lifesaver to help get dry - We carry larger microfibre towels in our dry bag but for just in case, these Lightload towels are great stashed away in pockets of our boyancy aids along with a space blanket each, and they're great for this.Astonishingly tiny, so light you'd never know you're carrying it, and individually shrink-wrapped (ie waterproof until needed) these couldnt be better for our needs - Sure, their size qualifies them more as flannels than towels and theyre likely pretty much only a single-use in practical terms (no chance of ever getting them packed back down remotely as small as they come originally, even if they do physically last much more than a single use), but for the kind of purpose these are intended, not to mention their low cost, who cares? The negative reviews from people complaining about the small size when opened confuse me, it's not like the product title doesnt clearly mention that its a 12x12 "hand size", and hell, thats why they also sell a bigger one.

Compact and useful
These towels are highly compressed and tightly packaged. Once taken out and moistened, they expand to their full volume, and in spite of the small size, the viscose fabric is surprisingly soft and absorbent, even more surprising is that it can actually be used again and again. They also dry quite fast.To test them, I used one for a week in my kitchen, first for drying my hands, then for cleaning counters, and eventually, as a washcloth around the sink. After the week was over, it looked a little battered, but had it been a real emergency situation, it could have be used some more.Having been in 3 major natural disaster (Seattle's 1993 inauguration storm, the 1994 Northridge earthquake in Los Angeles, and France's December 31 1999 storm), I've learned to always keep an emergency pack at home and in my car. Once I tested these towels, they quickly replaced bulkier and more expensive towels in my emergency packs.

a 'must have' product.
must have product. I have bought this towel in 3 sizes for myself and as gifts over the past two years. they are a 'must have' product in my handbag They hardly take any space yet are a good size and very strong when in useThey are handy in your cabin bag, a great travel item but also an excellent survival tool. I carry two in my handbag , always! An excellent product which is inexpensive, in fact good value.

useful and very practical
Purchased these as an addition to the emergency pack I carry in the car. Excellent they weigh nothing, take up no space at all and do exactly what the makers claim. Having used them to help another motorist (who kindly sent me replacements) I will continue to keep them handy. I also bought a slightly larger one. They are not the toughest towel you could use but weight, size and convenience far outweigh their slightly fragile nature. Treated sensibly they wash and can be re-used several times. A little care is needed to unpack them but this is only common sense.

Dish cloth
These are a complete waste of time. I brought them due to the postive reviews. They are a complete waste of time. I would recomend a micro fibre towel that is small and will get you dry. These are like the cheap open ones that can be brought in the high street for 50p. Do not waste your money on these.

As a motorbiker it's often a good option if you can find things that can save you space in your packing, especially for shorter runs. These towels are not just small, they are also packaged in a tough container. I'm not sure if they will ever come close to saving my life, but they will and do certainly have a place in my day bag!

Festival Godsend
I purchased these as a small necessity for my daughter's first foray as a festival-goer to Download 2012. Their compact size was ideal to shove down the inside of her backpack and they are lightweight and unobtrusive. She was pleasantly surprised to find them packed in her bag on a particularly (but also traditionally) wet festival day to help her dry off. The other beauty of these little godsends is that as they are reasonably priced, you don't mind them being disposed of after gruesome festival usage instead of coming home for the wash! Will definitely buy these again (and the bigger sizes) for when the teen next decides to go dwelling in festival swampiness!
