Hi, Do you also have to readjust grind size after every grinding? There's always 3-4 clicks difference

No, you don't have to readjust grind size each time. I use my Hario Mini daily but only wash once a week to remove the coffee oil. I feel that is sufficient. You need to make sure you replace the wing nut the correct way up after cleaning. If positioned incorrect way round the doesn't grind. Grind position remains the same on every grind until you wish to adjust.

is the outer burr supposed to be seating firmly? as mines is loose and would fall down and touch the inner burr. Looks like a defect

I checked mine, the Outer burr is supposed to rest, under it's own weight, on top of the inner burr. For me I haven't had any problems from this, and have managed to grind coffee both coarse and fine (although it takes a long time to grind) and have always had consistent results.

How long does it take to grind the full 30g on a medium setting (for a filter coffee)?

Grinding as fast as I can, it takes the same time as my kettle takes to boil 1.5 litres of water. It’s now my morning exercise.

How long does it take to grind the full 30g on a medium setting (for a filter coffee)?

I think the time depends mostly on the setting i.e. longer for fine setting as used for espresso coarser for normal use. I also find for me i find it grinds more efficiently holding the grinder at roughly 45 degrees and also easier to grind as beans are being fed in from side rather than full on grind from top. Some people use a small cordless drill attached to the hexagon drive rather than the handle for ease of grinding, but for me i enjoy the exercise.!!!!! Jack Lumber.
