Good enought for the job - cheap and cheerful. Don't expect a smooth quality finish or thread.

They wasn't as good as I was exspecting

Excellent replacement for an identical one which broke after almost 30 years regular use. But also nice to have a bright shiny new one again, which really smartens up an original sash window.

Fairly solid looking, even in the packaging. Open it up and it’s not the best quality lock. Fair enough, not overly expensive. Start to install on the window and I pre drill the hole to keep it nice and tidy. Add the screw in and use impact driver (slow and easy waiting for the click) and the screw head comes straight off! Okay fair enough I’m using an impact driver, but I switch to a hand screwdriver and the same bloody thing happens. So I have to use different screws, now the ones I purchased from Screwfix don’t snap or break, but they don’t match unless I buy a can of gold spray paint. Not ideal!

A top quality product that solved the problem of locking secure the side hatch doors on my narrow boat

These fitted in exactly where the old broken ones were removed, we even used the same screw holes. They seem sturdy and secure, we are happy with the purchase.

It works ok to secure the sash window but the color has worn off after less than a year of use and now it looks tacky. Not worth the money and will need to be replaced again
