For those needing to do a lot of writing in pencil, regular (HB) types are often too hard.These softer, darker (2B) pencils work fine with lighter strokes, making them much easier to use - without being too hard to erase.

It is a nice, smooth-writing pencil. A little soft, as a 2B should be. The lead is a little off-center in the pencil, as noted by some other reviews. This wasn't really an issue for our electric sharpener, but might bother some people.

I recently accidentally ordered two packages of these, and while I likely should have returned them for a more versatile set, I kept them.I’m a beginner artist, so my word should be taken with a grain of salt, but so far they’ve worked well enough. Would definitely recommend these if you’re looking to resupply on 2b pencils

I purchased these pencils to support my son's virtual learning because the graphic is softer and darker. When my son needed to display his work, the teacher and class could see it better than the regular pencils. It worked well. HOWVER, it is a good thing that there are a lot of pencils for the price as you will lose ~2-inch of each pencil because the graphite falls out. See pic. During timed activities, time was lost to sharpening the pencil having the graphite fall out and having to re-sharpen until a "point" could be established. This was very frustrating feature I would not purchase these again. I ended up purchasing Staedtler so that during exams and other timed events my son could avoid losing time due to sharpening and sharpening the pencil.

These pencils are awesome! I’m so tired of the standard number two pencils that right so lightly and don’t show up very well on paper. Please give a good dark color which makes the letters stand out on the page. They do not come with a racers on the head but I put a slip on the risers which worked great. This is my second order of 24 pencils and I will continue to buy these.
