Humidity without the hassle
Been using these for years, no need to replace just top up as needed. Always seem expensive for what you get but does the job very well and much cheaper in the long run -v- buying humidity packs.

Don't work as advertised.
Didn't work at all in either of my humidors. These simply failed to raise the humidity to to the advertised percentage. Had to return them in the end.

This 2 oz container is just right for my medium sized humidor (~75 cigars.) It is a small but essential portion of keeping the large investment within at a constant level of moisture. I truly notice the difference when I use these jars faithfully. Do remember to add purified or distilled water rather than just tap as a source. The larger size of jar looks tempting but would take up too much space and this one simply works. Updated nearly two yrs later: still functions and it is better than any other product similar for the purpose. Silica gel is excellent and the vent screen is perfect.

works great just what I needed

For your average sized humidor desktop box this will work great, i.e., 50-100 cigars. Mine's new but my brother has used this for a few years and it keeps his humidor right at 70% humidity during Iowa's relatively dry winters (30-50% humidity). Mine is in a 28-quart cooler (16x16x12 in) right now and it looks like its running at 65%, so on larger humidors you may need a larger jar.

I was using a small cup to supplement dry humidifiers when adding a new load of cigars, or simply when new. These fill the void well and supplement your basic credo well. Especially useful during winter months when fighting dry climate conditions.

Damaged cap and which isn't needed anyway, but main issue is doesn't keep constant 70% as advertised.
