Really good coffee for the price
I’ve been buying this breakfast blend for a while now and it’s easily one of my favorites. The flavor is super smooth and not bitter at all, which is hard to find with some of the bigger bags you buy in bulk. It’s got a really nice, light roast taste that’s perfect for when you just want a solid cup of coffee without it being too intense or oily. The 32-ounce bag is a great size and lasts a long time even if you’re making a pot every single day. It smells amazing as soon as you open the bag, and you can tell the beans are good quality. I usually make it in a standard drip machine and it comes out perfect every time. Definitely a 5-star coffee if you want something easy to drink and reliable.

Tasty coffee
Medium roast coffee that produces a full-bodied cup of coffee that is smooth and mild without any harshness or acidity. Ground coffee arrived fresh with strong aroma and at a superb QPR. Cheaper than anything I could get at any of my local stores and better quality too!

Very smooth, tasting coffee, at the time the price was spot on very reasonable. Priced Quality is good. Freshness is good.

Seems low-acid, tastes great
This coffee is absolutely delicious. It has a smooth flavor. I first purchased this coffee when my favorite low-acid brand wasn't available. I was surprised to discover that I could tolerate this brand just as well as my favorite low-acid coffee. I'm shocked that this coffee isn't listed as low-acid since it treats my stomach as if it is. Though I frequently have trouble tolerating the scent of other coffees, this always smells good. My family and friends like the way I make coffee. I use an old-fashioned scoop that used to come in cans of coffee that holds about 1.75 tablespoons of grounds. I use 1 scoop of grounds for each even-numbered cup line on my drip coffee maker. A cup on every drip coffee maker that I've owned has been 6 oz. The tap water tastes good where I live now, so I use it, but when I'm in an area with bitter water, I use bottled water to make coffee.

Its good
Great, affordable breakfast blend coffee

Great price, excellent for cold brew, so-so for hot.
Great for cold brew coffee, especially at this price point. Good taste, not bitter, huge quantity for the price compared to major brands. For regular hot water brewing, this does have a flatter flavor and is a bit thin bodied. Then again, I am much pickier about hot coffee because I drink it black. I normally switch to a different brand in the winter for hot coffee, but this is my go-to for iced coffee weather (which is nine months of the year in New England!)

Light Flavor, Nice & Smooth, but Sours Quickly Once Brewed
My passion for coffee sprang from necessity when I was teaching middle/high school. Post-survival-guzzling it in the trenches, I've had time to develop a genuine appreciation for delicious coffee whether at home or in a shop. It also helps with some health conditions I now have, like frequent all over edema & arthritis. So I drink quite a bit of it. Everyone has a different taste palette, so to give you an idea of what I usually enjoy, I prefer a great cup of real espresso that's been prepared in a real espresso machine over sunrises & puppies & even good food. In regular coffee, I typically prefer a bold flavor, a dark roast, but not bitter. I then add milk & some form of sweetness, either raw sugar or those chemical-laden flavored "creamers" we all can't seem to get enough of. (Guilty as charged.) Tried Cameron's on a whim, after seeing it mentioned by a few internet foodie gurus I swipe recipes from. Everyone was raving about it, so I took a chance & used it to fill my cart here to qualify for free shipping one day. My first impression upon brewing per the bag's instructions, was that it was not a bad buy; it had a thinner brewed consistency than what I'm used to, but there was a delicate smoothness to it, and it had a quality, light flavor. I was super grateful for that first cup. 45 minutes later though, the big pot of it I'd made began to taste quite sour, which was a bummer! In my normal coffee routine, I typically make a whole pot, remove it from the burner immediately to prevent flavor-scorch, & drink just about the whole thing by the end of the day, or store it in the fridge for cold coffee the next morning. As the day progressed with my Cameron's batch, however, this coffee just got worse & worse. And on a few days, it even brewed sour right out of the gate. So maybe it's a freshness issue? Or perhaps it's just the nature of the beans. My bag doesn't expire for a while yet, but whew, something is super off. I've had to start drinking it with Peppermint Creamer just to nullify the skunkiness that develops after that 1st cup. 😪 I've had this sourness happen a couple of times in the past with other coffees I've purchased at Costco, coffees I've ground myself immediately after buying, but that then sour quickly in the bag, so perhaps Cameron's needs to tweak their roasting or storage/packaging process a little. Alsp, lovers beware, this kind gives you that dreaded ick coffee breath, the kind that makes you want to brush your teeth or hide from all society. Also it's worth mentioning that the caffeine in this hits differently than my usual brew, or really any other coffee I've ever consumed. At 1pst, for what seems like a looong time, you wonder is this stuff even working. But then suddenly it does hit you, not so much in the normal coffee caffeinated peppy way, with this the first thing i notice is heart palpitations/ racing. So that's certainly a little odd. That reaction passes in about 5-10 minutes, thankfully. But overall it does not seem to pack as much of a pep-punch as my usual coffee go-tos. Like it's not something that helps me power through laundry days. So all these factors combined, sadly I doubt I'll buy from Cameron's again. Back to Folger's Classic Roast for me for now.
