Veggie Dog Food Trial
I was recommended to try this veggie flakes dog food by a friend. It does look like rabbit food & you do have to spend a little time before feeding, to soak it. The dogs get this once a week & they love it. Never a scrap left & one of my dogs is quite fussy with new things. I wouldn’t feed it all the time, as would be too expensive for four dogs but it’s great for a weekly feed.

More herbs than anything else
Too many herbs, I have to put the whole bag through a culinder to get rid of them because my dog won't eat them and there isnt much left once I take them out.

Hamster food for dogs?
Since this is designed as a product for raw feeders, I'll look at this from my own raw feeding perspective. Serious raw feeders will tell you there is no need for something like this and that dogs dont actually need fruit and veg in their diet, which is to a certain extent true. I'm a bit more of a relaxed raw feeder and have no issues with my dog eating fruit and veg and I would even encourage it just to make sure that he has lots of variety in his diet.Whilst AniForte are offering a fruit and veg supplement here and I recognise that from a packaging and distribution perspective this is probably the best way to store fruit and veg, I would prefer something fresher when adding this kind of thing to my dogs diet. The contents of the bag look more like hamster food to me and I'm not convinved of how much nutritional content remains. My dog was not terribly convinced either, although he did eat it with some persuasion, which surprised me considering how much of a fussy eater he is. He wouldn't touch the pellets that are in the mix though and picked his way around those.

Nice addition to my dogs food.
Like many of the other reviewers, I found this food needs to be soaked for much longer than the stated 10minutes. I soak until the alfalfa is soft.I raw feed my dogs, my fussiest dog will eat this when fully soaked but I can’t say it’s 10% of their overall diet, I alternate between fresh veg etc.I think this is a great addition to raw food but wouldn’t use it as their sole veg/fruit/herb source. It’s clearly good quality ingredients.
