The feeder was okay to set up just download the app and connect it to wifi network. Easy to clean and it comes with two icepacks to keep the wetfood cold. We use this on a regular basis to feed our cats especially when we are working. So far after using it for a good few days I am impressed with the performance and quality of the feeder. Definitely worth buying.

Unfortunately it didnt live up to expectations. The first meal is uncovered. Which is only an issue if you want to set it up for few days, and you do so few hours after first meal of day. ( 2 breakfast ) setting the timmer was stressful. So at noon. We wanted to set it at 7pm then 7am next morning. It however kept missing 7pm and went straight to 7am after feeding cat again. We give up on timmer decided to download the app and set alarm on phone to remind us to remotely feed cat via the app. Pleased note for the very first time doing so, it wouldn't let us do so using mobile data. Had to find WiFi. Which if you're in somewhere like the lakes not easy to get. After the first time using the app on mobile it let us use mobile data.

This is a gamechanger for feeding my kitten whilst we are out. I don't leave her longer than the recommended 4 hours a day, however wanted something that would grow with her and that could be used when I am able to leave her for longer. The ice packs mean that the food remains fresh and kitty seems to think so too as she eats the lot! I also like the fact that it alerts you when the feed has been administered, which gives peace of mind. The backup batteries are a good idea so you don't have to worry about a power cut and your cat not being fed, should you leave her longer periods

I have other feeding devices and drinking devices from catit and this is another great device of theirs. No need to have my female cat hovering around me for food at the times she normally asks for and especially at weekends I don’t get a lay in because she wakes me up for food now it automatically is there for bed. Keeps food fresh and is a must buy!

Unlike other reviewers I have had no issues with setting up the WiFi.HOWEVER the HUGE flaw in this product is that you can only set a schedule within one day. If you're away overnight it becomes very difficult to set an automatic schedule and you end up just manually advancing the meals which makes the whole thing a bit pointless.3 stars is generous.

It’s good if you don’t want to connect to wifi or use the app but thus is the whole reason I wanted this feeder in the first place! The app wouldn’t schedule meals in the correct order so I had to resort to programming it on the feeder screen, which worked ok but I wanted the app to actually work which I don’t think is too much to ask. I uninstalled everything & started from scratch again including having to reconnect to wifi which was a huge mistake. When I first got the feeder, I tried for over 30 mins to connect to wifi & got so frustrated just left it…when I went back to the app later it had somehow worked. But this time I’ve been trying for over an hour & it literally won’t work. Restarted my router, my phone, everything & it just won’t work…everything is within a metre of each other…the password is correct…I literally I don’t know what to do now. It’s an absolute joke that’s it’s this difficult to connect & set up. I’ve messaged the company about the app problem so will be contacting them about this too. If I can’t resolve these problems I will be sending it back. Fuming!

I bought these in December 2023 to make sure my babies had food, used them for one weekend and worked fine. Tried plugging it in today to use it for the second time and it doesn't work. Absolute rubbish, highway robbery for something you can only use once. Extremely disappointed.

Works fine, but gets through batteries at a phenomenal rate. I set it up, and used it once, then put it in the cupboard. 4 days later I got a message to tell me the WiFi signal from it was weak. So I checked it, and the 4 batteries, which had cost me £6, were almost totally drained!Sure, it comes with a USB power source - but few of us feed our cats a few feet away from a 13A socket! So, after you use it, you have to REMOVE the batteries to stop it consuming them! I have never seen a device eat batteries so quickly!The user documentation comes in 14 different languages - but is so terse as to be practically useless.The app is fairly easy to set up - apart from a recurring schedule which I still can't figure out.Would I buy it again? No.
