These gloves are packed with gel. Lots and lots of gel. Therefore they stay cold a l-o-o-o-n-g time. I'm very pleased.

For most of my life, I have suffered from chronic hand pain because I play a lot of computer games and dabble in professional Fortnite tournaments. During chemotherapy they put your hands in ice baggies so that the toxic drug has a harder time of getting to sensitive finger tips. The ice is awkward and melty. So, these gloves are wonderful to keep your hands cold in comfort. I have a set for my feet too. But the cold wears off too soon, so I got a second pair for my hands to wear when that happens. They are also good to wear in the week or so after chemo when your palms itch and fingertips are still exposed to the chemicals.

My husband has diabetes, and has neuropathy issues in his hands and has trouble sleeping because of it. I got these in hopes it would help and they do! We tried putting them in the freezer, they were way too cold. So we keep them in the refrigerator and that's juuuuust right! :) I need to see if they have these for feet!
