This mount package includes Arkon’s Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder and Heavy-Duty Desk or Cart Mounting Pedestal with 4” Arm and C-Clamp Base. The Slim-Grip tablet holder features a spring-loaded design that makes it easy to insert or remove the tablet by pushing down on the lower legs of the holder with one hand. Included with the holder are 10 support legs (4 short, 2 medium and 4 long versions). Choose the 4 legs that provide the best fit for your tablet. These insert at the top and bottom of the holder and can be easily adjusted in order to keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed. For most large tablets, the best mount holder configuration is to attach 2 short support legs on top and the 2 long support legs on the bottom of the holder. For smaller tablets, use all 4 short support legs on the holder. For larger tablets including iPad Pro, use all 4 long legs. For vertical viewing, adjust the 360-degree swivel. The heavy-duty mounting pedestal is made of steel, and is ideal for an office or workspace where easy access to a tablet is needed, but where surface space is at a premium. The C-clamp maintains a firm grip and opens as wide as 2.25 inches for clamping to a desk, cart, worktable, bench, lectern, or other table-like surface.

Strong, not flexible
I may have purchased the stand for the wrong reason. I was looking for something to hold my Wacom Cintiq (16”); I wanted to have it easily go from third monitor to drawing tablet just by moving it across the desk. While it works fine as a stand for a third monitor, the arm is not moveable whatsoever. It takes a tremendous amount of force to bend. The tablet holder plate also sags to either direction, even if the tablet is balanced.I am glad that it is large enough to hold my tablet though — not many stands could fit that and I didn’t want to spend 500 bucks on the Wacom mount. I’m also glad the platforms of the stand are wide and sturdy, and grip super super tight.

Holds my Flip laptop!
This was the only mount that held my 2lb+ Asus flip laptop steady and strong with no movement on the gooseneck. I use it to clamp on my window sill and watch in bed. BEST thing ive bought on Amazon this year

Very durable
The neck is strong enough to hold my 12” iPad Pro and I like that I can swap out the arms for a different sized tablet if I need to.I was worried that the I instructions were lacking but I was able to put it together just fine.I took a star of just because there was no mention of self assembly in the product description and I was expecting to use it upon arrival.I would buy it again:)

Gets the job done
The mount is very sturdy, attached it to my treadmill and its able to withhold the weight of my ipad pro without flopping over. I had an incident with my ipad falling from the small built in stand during an intense that my ipad fell and flung across the room once it hit the tread. Only issues i have is for it being “new” it had some scuff marks and scratches already on the clamp. Also the clamp grip wasnt leveling flat onto my treadmill so i had to add a fold silicone badge holder in between my treadmill and clamp to keep it from leaning back (only slightly but wasnt gonna take any chances after my last incident). The arm is super steady but definitely takes some force to manipulate and move (can be a hood and bad thing). Overally satisfied but could work on reducing price a bit since it does have some minor defects.

Works great for my iPad.
Bought this clamp to hold my iPad for my rowing machine. Very well built and sturdy. It has multiple interchangeable clamp arms to fit different size devices. Works great, a good value for the price.

This is the best tablet holder for an exercise bike
This is a very sturdy and solid tablet holder for an “exercise bike.”This is a very solid piece of “equipment.” There is nothing fragile about it. The stiffness of the neck negatives that you will see from others, yes the statements are true - but I don’t consider what I’m about to say to be a negative. The neck takes some effort to bend or adjust it to your suitable setting. This is needed. This is what you want. Why? Because if this was a flimsy gooseneck and you were riding hard on your exercise bike, the tablet would move up and down and shake all the time. Not with this exercise bike tablet holder. Also, I’m using a 10 inch tablet. A flimsy gooseneck would not hold a 10 inch tablet it would droop down. There is no drooping, No dropping down with this exercise bike tablet holder. This exercise bike tablet holder is not made for constant adjustment while you are riding. I have it set to where it fits me. I don’t need to move it again. If I did, I’d just take the tablet out “put a little effort” into it and bend the neck. Putting the tablet into the holder and taking it out is a snap. Now, You can’t have it both ways people. You can’t have a sturdy tablet holder and a flimsy neck. This is a tremendously sturdy tablet holder. If you are looking for a sturdy table holder this is what you are looking for. Yes , you will need to put some effort into adjusting the neck. Get over it. When you get this very sturdy tablet holder adjusted to where you want it you will be VERY VERY VERY pleased. If you buy a flimsy gooseneck tablet holder “you will be VERY disappointed.” It will not hold your heavy tablet - that is, a flimsy gooseneck tablet holder on an exercise bike. Maybe just sitting at a desk, but not on an exercise bike. This is the tablet holder for an “exercise bike.” Goodbye, now have a nice day I hope you make the best choice for you.

It does what it’s designed to do well.
I bought this holder to clamp onto my easel and hold my iPad. The thing is solid! It’s sturdy to the pony that I can’t actually adjust the angle of the flexible arm without using two hand, a knee and some gutteral sound effects. While it’s slightly frustrating, it’s also peace of mind that my iPad could fall to its death. It’s stable to a fault!!

Solid clamp which holds my 12.9 inch ipad firmly (with case!)
I've been looking for something like this for ages.... let me explain. I have a home cycling machine, and I want to watch tv while I cycle. Yes, I hate exercise, it bores me to tears. But at least if I can be watching a documentary or something while I exercise, I might have more incentive. But there's a problem, I have a 12.9 inch ipad pro, but not only that, it's encased in a brilliant Otterbox protective case (I dropped my last one). The case is not only rugged and large, but heavy too. But the ajustable 'jaws' (they supply different sizes) on the clamp cope extremely well, and hold it securely. The 'flexible' neck can be angled slightly, but it is very stiff so I wouldn't try to twist it into extreme positions. The base clamp easily fits onto the top of the display instrumentation box on the handlebars, and anyway the kit comes with several sizes of clamp. A couple of things, as this is a fixed exercise cycle there isn't too much movement but with the weight and the long ish neck it will move if it is on, say, a wheelchair going over bumpy ground so be aware. With a lighter tablet and no huge case, it's probably firmer. But for the use I have put it to, it is *ideal*. This is what I love about Amazon, if you long hard enough, read enough reviews, you can find your perfect bit of kit in the end! Please note I do not accept any free items to review, and am not connected with any of the manufacturers or suppliers of any item I write about.

Not the usual Arkon quality. rubber caps on clamp fall off if you as much as sneeze close to it.
Arkon mounts over the years have always been either great or kinda OK. I have one of the smaller versions of this mount already (the version without the swan neck) and that one is excellent. This one however has a couple of issues.1) As some one else mentioned the swan neck is a solid aluminium tube, so while its ultra sturdy dont expext to be able to bend it more than a few times before it snaps. But as its a solid tube it is very solid when bent (with some considerable force I must add)2) the rubber cup on the screw is a tad too large for the huge washer it covers. Mine fell off on the first use, on a gig, luckily it fell in my bag or this mount would be useless, but the V in the cap is great when using on a mic stand3) the flat part of the clamp has a great rubber cover to help when you clamp to say a mic stand. it even has a nice groove to help the clamp work better. The downside, well as in point 2 above the rubber is too large and falls offSo, I managed to get this to work by using bluetack under the rubber clamp parts to stop them falling off.The clamp for the tablet is excellent and has had a couple of minor improvements over my old one.It is sturdy, a heavy HP tablet on it doesnt see any wobbles on the mic stand, the tablet isnt going to come out of this one.So do I recommend it? Well yes and no........ If you ignore the two rubber caps falling off then this would be unbeatable. But when you consider if you dont put bluetack under those caps they will be lost rendering the clamp useless, then its overly expensive. I have tried a lot of these types of clamps and this one is better than many, but its simply not worth the asking price if I am honest and not of the usual Arkon quality. Especially when it has glaring faults straight out of the box,

Brilliant
This is a monster of a clamp and tablet holder.Unlike many others this won't move when installed. The clamp itself can be adjusted to clamp onto smaller bars if needed. It is more expensive than most of the others but it is worth it if you are looking for a quality clamp and tablet holder. It is important to note... The spring is extremely strong which means it is difficult to adjust into place without a fair effort. This is to be expected for such a strong spring and quality clamp, it means you won't have to adjust it over and over once in place. This is not the clamp you want if you want to move the position of the spring regularly. If you want a tablet holder that won't move then this is the one for you. It was worth the premium price.

Superb!
Absolutely the best tablet mount I have tried, and I've tried several trying to find something which would support my flat-folding laptop which could attach to a (music) keyboard stand. It can handle both the weight of the laptop - twice or more that of a tablet, and the size. It's a 13.5" HP Pavilion. It's in exactly the right place, i.e. directly in front of me in my field of vision, and much, much lighter than the other solutions I tried. And thanks to the Amazon owners who answered my questions about the item too. I'm over the moon with this superbly heavy-duty, light weight piece of kit!

Works fine affixed to a mic stand or a desk
Very happy with this purchase. Not clear from the description but the bottom mount has two different fixing positions meaning it can be adjusted to work on eg desktop or mic stand (different dimensions). Good quality and does the job. Only thing I would suggest could be improved is to find a way for the rubber shoe that is one part of the grip not to slide off when unfastening the holder from a desk (ie so you don’t lose it). Overall, it has been designed well and the mount will last.
