Vic FIrth - Double Sided Drumstick Practice Pad with VF logo - 12” Diameter

This pad is well made, good quality, and has good rebound and feel. If you're wanting to mount it on a stand just check the thread size is compatible, ours wasn't though that wasn't what I wanted it for. I wanted something of good quality and feel that was portable and not too noisy. Be aware that the actual playing surface is 14.5cm at the widest point. I don't find that a problem as it encourages accuracy, but it might be too small for some. It has a slip-resistant backing so sits pretty well on a table, not so good on top of a snare drum as it's light in weight and can bounce off!In summary, if you're looking for a small, portable, good quality practice pad you can shove in a bag and take anywhere this is ideal. If you want something closer to the size of a snare head or to sit on top of the snare for practice, or if the small size deters you for other reasons, you'd be better off with the larger size, which I expect is the same quality and feel.

great little pad, quite small so do not expect a big pad, pay attention to measurements stated. The material of the pad is great quality for bounce back. true to image and description. You cannot go wrong with Vic Firth!Perfect for practicing stick control and rudiments. I take it with me so I can practice at all times. Sometimes after a session on the kit in my studio room, when i am lounging about I still feel like I want to carry on, so i'll casually sit with my pad and paradiddle away, it's good to use at the comfort of your home with video tutorials when at times it is inappropriate to play on a loud kit/no access to a kit.Also handy to take away on holidays, to keep your playing fresh.Every drummer should own a practice pad. Recommended!

I bought this particular brand to learn and practice on. A bit more expensive than others but went on recommendations. Very pleased

Pretty good feel to pad and great quality

Fantastic bit of kit, very solidly made and should last a very long time. One side has a very hard rubber surface the other a slightly softer on. Both equally good and useful

Great size for practicing and also for taking the pad with you in your bag. Vic Firth quality product, as always. Pad responsiveness is good and the pad is not loud either.

if you are looking for a practise pad for a beginner or a pro (as i’ve heard this is good for pros too!), buy this one. double sided and produces amazing muffled sound on one side and crisp sound on another.

Better then most

It all looks the same, and it has both sides. Works perfectly fine and great for taking it with you. It can fit in a tiny bag

I’ve been practicing on this one for awhile. With 8 oz sticks. It still looks like when I first use it. Great!
