How an anyone realistically have this lamp 20cm away from their face? Does it work a metre away for longer?

I agree, unless you spent a lot of money you are supposed to sit 20cm from this or any other lamp - it's almost impossible. I believe there is an effect from up to 1 m away for longer periods. I bought the lamp because I didn't like the light from SADS lights when they are bright white. This lamp produces a very pleasant light and I try to spend as much time as close as I can to it.

Does this have a warranty?

The seller says that this has a 3 year warranty, I have a lamp that has stopped working which I bought less than three years ago bit more than two. How do I go about getting help please?

Does it work for SAD?

Totally! I’m Spanish in the U.K. for 20+ years, best winters since years ago I got this Lumie vitamin lamp. Can’t recommend it more!
