MEDMAX Insulin Vial Carrying Cooler Case, Portable Water Resistant Insulated Diabetic Organizer Protective Hard Shell Medical Travel Case with One Ice Brick (Red)

I was looking for something that was hard, had a curved-fit for an insulin vial, and could store a few needles. This is for my dog, and I didn't need all the extra space for test strips and monitors. I haven't used it as an ice pack, but keep it in the fridge. It is exactly what I needed, and I like that I have the ice pack should I need to travel with his insulin.

As much I would love to give this a 5 star I had a few issues with it. 1st the freezer packs didn’t stay frozen for the length of my plane trip or train ride and it leaked Condensation all over my medication bag. It also was a bit awkward to put my insulin vials in, the pockets were a bit large to hold the vials properly and it was not quite big enough to hold both the ice packs and 2 vials of insulin without possibly breaking the vials.

So the first couple of days this worked ok but the more you freeze and use the less cold it gets. So what i mean is after the first fee days the thing just dont say cold it melt super fast

I like it but I thought that once you freeze it, it would hold the cold for at least a week or so. Didn't realize you have to basically freeze it every day. So not good for traveling more than a day. A day trip would be ok. I use it to take my insulin to work and keep it cold at work.

Doesn’t stay frozen more than a couple hours. Not the best for long flights or overnight travel.
