Excellent kit
I've bought two sets of these as I needed the distance and they are great. Not sure why others are having issues with them unscrewing easily - just make sure you are always turning them the correct direction when rodding and you'll have no issues

Good quality item, which will last.
Good quality item, which will last.Something I wanted to know when looking at the competing products, I can confirm (for me) it was definitely worth paying the extra. It unblocked my drain brilliantly, saving having to call out a service. I really couldn't ask for more that that, 5 stars well deserved.

Best £25-worth in ages!
Drains were blocked between house and septic tank, as evidenced by downstairs toilet water levels rising very high in the pan after flushing. Lifting outdoor drain covers confirmed high levels in the drains, and nil flow.I avoided even cheaper rods on the premise that a breakage of same would only add to our problems. This Faithfull set arrived the very next day (Amazon Prime) and was quite obviously fit for purpose. Excellent value for money. The instructions make a good point about localising the blockage, so the the next chamber downstream can be blanked to prevent the cleared 'matter' from surging on and causing another blockage. A brick sufficed for that while allowing liquid to pass beneath. However, I could not rod back towards the house as the access would have required a scary amount of bend in the rods. Instead I found that the most upstream drain cover gave access with the least amount of bend - maybe 30 degrees. All ten rods plus the hook end did the trick in five minutes. I then lifted out the paper and s**t with a hoe. Flushing all 3 toilets brought through yet more backed-up detritus. Rinsing the various chambers with a garden hose was helpful.I was dreading the task but, honestly, it was almost a pleasure! Having water flushed as above the rods even emerged fairly wholesome and after dragging through long grass were near ready to put away.As per title, a great 25 quid's worth. Well done Faithfull!

They untwist easily
They feel good quality tough made but they unscrew easily, could loose one down the drain if one was to poke it all the way around the bend.

Just the job (pun intended). Best £26 I've ever spent - ideal for blockages in straight pipes
Buying these drain rods was a last roll of the dice for solving a long running saga that started with a blocked toilet, but escalated to a much bigger problem, with our decking area smelling like a sewage treatment facility; not ideal as we sought refuge during COVID lockdown.I had tried all the obvious tricks courtesy of Google - plunging, various chemicals, vinegar/baking powder - am sure you've done the same. They are fine for superficial issues close to the toilet lid, but this was (if you'll pardon the pun) a much bigger job.Having exhausted the quick-fixes without success, my challenge was understanding how my drainage worked (not something I spent much time pondering, when everything was flowing away as normal ). If you have them, dig out the plans for your property and look for 'foul water drainage' which is what magically transports bathroom, utility and kitchen effluent away for someone else to worry about. Those plans gave me a chance of pinpointing the blockage. I found a hatch in my decking that I had never noticed, revealing the foul water exit from my/adjacent property. Whatever I flushed or purged, nothing came out, though my neighbours pipe was working. The stench was only getting worse, and attempts to somehow deploy my Karcher pressure washer were futile, so with pressure from my wife to admit defeat and call Dynarod, I bought these drain rods, which seemed a reasonable investment based on my level of expectation, which was pretty low.Knowing the pipe in question was straight and roughly 8m in length I thought these were worth a punt. Estimate the maximum length of the pipe in question and then add a metre as you need something to hold onto, and the entry will be below ground. These rods are bendy, but I wouldn't expect them to go round bends. I avoided using the plunger fitting as my biggest fear was making the issue ten times worst by getting that stuck deep into my drain system, instead I used the claw attachment assuming the blockage was wipes, fat or a big plug of unmentionables. It looked well designed for grabbing that kind of material. The drain hatch was very close to a fence but the rods were flexible enough to bend into the drain opening and I was then able to gradually attach and screw them in, extending into the pipe. I recommend wearing gloves, but this makes it a bit harder to screw them tight, but is absolutely essential, going anti-clockwise to lock; you then keep turning the rods in that direction as you push them in, sweeping up the pipe until you hopefully find the source of your problems. My hopes were fading after attaching the eighth of nine rods when I suddenly felt resistance; for any fisherman it was like getting a bite, but this wasn't something I wanted to serve up with chips for tea. I twisted clockwise (against the threads) and there was some give, gave it a pull (striking, to maintain the fishing analogy) and bingo, I unleashed the mother-load.As I whipped out the rods (carefully) I heard a big glugging sound followed by a massive plug of wipes and a river of brown mess accompanied by a smell I am still struggling to shake-off. Despite the offensive nature of the procession - that just kept coming - I was dancing in celebration.I would highly recommend these rods if you are reasonably certain of what you are dealing with, and the pipe in question doesn't have an angle above 45 degrees. They have been disinfected ready for future emergencies, though we'll be more careful what we put down the loo. The best £26 I have ever spent - just the job!!!

Worked well!
Easy to assemble and straight forward instructions. Worked like a treat! Tried everything to unblock the drain and this did the job, only thing I would is when using the plunger bit, the screw came loose but other than that great product.
