This is a nice item. Build quality is solid. There’s no flexing or creaking, and it feels as though it can take a beating. And it’s comfortable in-hand, so long runs of scanning for inventory and such shouldn’t be a problem. Set up is easy, because it’s compatible with pretty much every major barcode reader-capable system you can think of. Everything should be this easy.The unit itself, it can be used either in wireless mode, or via direct connection using a USB connector (included). As for actual scanning, range seems to be really good – I’ve been able to get codes to scan up to 3 feet away! I have no idea if that range will remain over time, but I think it’s great for a wireless handheld unit. And it seems that I can do about one scan every second and a half, or so, which is pretty quick.I like the fact that this unit charges quickly – give it an hour, and it’ll scan for days! Overall, I think this scanner is great! The price is FANTASTIC for the features and build quality. Anyone looking for a convenient barcode scanner that’s highly configurable should definitely consider it.

I've now been using this for a few weeks. This works plug and play with my PC- iOS and android over bluetooth or via USB. It's simple to use- but you have to keep the manual and the card that comes with it forever as there is no GUI via USB to adjust settings- it's all done by scanning barcodes as far as I can tell which is a downside. For the price this seems perfect. Lightweight and rugged enough for constant use and less than half the price of big brands.
