will it replace part number 619494-082

if the plug part that fits into the sewing machine is three in line and this matches the socket then It should work, mine did but have a look at the complete foot pedal ,cable and plug combined.It looks as though you only have two bits from the photo. Having said all that , it was only the capacitor that was shorted on mine making the machine run all the time. tonywhitcombe@hotmail.com

will this fit singer 6548?

Hi Michele, Yes the foot is compatible with Singer machines. This is only the foot and will need to be rewired to your existing plug and flex which is not too difficult. It is a nice unit and works well and is also much cheaper than the fully wired version.RegardsRob

Will this fit a Silver Sewing machine

I don't know which model of machine you have but it isn't likely to be compatible. I think Silver machines use an electronic pedal. This is not electronic.

The picture of the switch with the lid removed shows no terminal screws or cable clamp, why??

From memory the cable is fed through the side of the pedal and the wires connect under the white centre plate which is fixed to the body of the pedal with two screws.The cable is held by a gripping mechanism with in the pedal. hope this helps. James
