Great socks, so comfy and not hot like normal non cotton compression socks. I've been wearing them all day! I normally like to use them in hot days of flying so haven't had a chance to try them out on these yet.

These socks were purchased as compression support socks for wearing up to twelve hours per day. The 14-18 mm-Hg rating is ideal long periods of wear; athletic or medical compression socks with >20 mm-Hg compression can become very uncomfortable if worn for more than one or two hours. I find them excellent, long lasting easy to wash and easy to put on. They are not cheap but they are worth the price.

I purchased these socks as I am flying to the USA next week so I have not used them for that purpose yet. Having said that I have tried them out. Firstly as I wanted to see how difficult or easy they are to put on. As was suggested I rolled the socks down so that most of it was over the toe part. It was quite easy to put once my toes were in the sock. Yes it did require more effort than a normal pair but I expected that. Once the foot was in it was easy and the socks were comfortable. It did feel a bit restricting to start with but I soon got used to the feeling.I wore them for several hours with no issues. A plus for me is as I have to take medication for high blood pressure and my ankles swell by the end of the day the socks prevented that from happening.When I flew to the USA 3 years my ankles were extremely puffy for a couple of days so I am hoping the socks will prevent this. I will post another review when I return and give my thoughts on how they performed.One more thing, I go for a jog about 3 times a week and for some reason my left shin bone always aches. It is not too painful but enough to be annoying. I wore the socks whilst jogging and they definitely helped with the pain. Another point in the socks favour. I have not given 5 stars because the socks have not been used yet for the purpose I purchased them for.

They used to be great, until the company blindsided a subset of its loyal customers when they -without warning- increased the calf measurement by EIGHT centimetres.So now I literally can’t use them anymore.Small went from 24-30cm to 32-35cm.That’s a ridiculous jump.What really angers me about this is they probably listened to reviews of customers that said the calf was too small for them, which those customers -had they employed common sense- can easily remedy that by simply going up a size.Unlike them I can’t remedy this issue by going down a size but they chose to listen to the customers who wouldn’t think for 2 seconds on how to fix their fixable problem.So while it used to be a product that was reliable and of great quality it screwed over the people it used to fit and profited off of. Especially ironic as the packaging would say ‘with you every step of the way’Regardless, it became noticeable before they even switched that the fabric quality was becoming thinner and less robust, but I stuck with them as the only company that had my size.Their customer service? It was as dumb and slow as the people buying sizes too small for their parameters and then complaining about it.To any compression sock companies out there, people with skinny calves exist, and if you make them, all skinny people will flock there as literally no other company caters to smaller sizing.I regret spending so much money on this company for it to change their definition of small after taking slimmer peoples money and then pretend like skinny athletic peoples parameters don’t exist by cutting us out, when they literally used to make them.You want to change the definition of a small by replacing the parameters? Then you could have at the very least have made an XS.I’m not even asking for inclusivity here, I’m literally asking a company to sell what they sold me for years before deciding people like me don’t exist when we were literally buying this size for a reason.AVOID.To slimmer calved folk looking for a cotton compression sock, try Sockslane, the compression isn’t as strong but it’s the only one I’ve found.

Well made and comfortable but I have to keep pulling them up. This is not a problem I, like wearing them.

I have just ordered two more pairs and I was suprised to see that majority of reviews for this item are from those who received them free or at a reduced price. I am always sceptical of these sort of reviews as there must be a small part of bias involved. So the good news for the product is that I didn't get get a deal so definately no bias here!I have been wearing compression socks for four years. My daughter, who has medical experience, advised me to start as I have vairicose veins and I am likely to have circulaton problems as I get older (currently 66). I now wear them all the time and have found that I can stand for longer periods, without the aching I used to suffer, and they also help recovery from my running activities.After trying all sorts I eventually found the heavier Danish Endurance Compression socks. Another good quality sock from the brand but not that easy to take on and off. However they were superior to the previous varieties I had bought.I purchased a pair of these socks to try for daily use and they are certainly everything the other reviewers have said. Light, easy to put on/take off and they still give me the compresson support I need. Wearing them all day is like wearing normal socks. One major bonus is that they have no logos etc so they also look like normal day to day socks; although the shoe shop assistant did grin when she saw the L & R on each sock when I went for a new pair of shoes.I am happy to highly recommend these socks for all day use.

I found these socks very comfortable to wear over a long period of time. They do not leave grooves in your legs like some similar items do. Early days yet but I like these.
