Konig & Meyer Violin stand desk mounting - 15580

I use this on my fold-up music stand, attaches well, sturdy to hold my violin. I will warn to other buyers - DO NOT USE THIS ON AN ALREADY FLIMSY MUSIC STAND, it will fall over with the weight of a violin. I have a sturdy, good quality music stand and this is perfect for it.

Our child's violin tutor suggested we leave the violin 'out' and ready to play to encourage little-and-often practice sessions; after much research we chose this item.Really pleased with it as the violin sits quite securely in this holder, which is important as the new violin is a significant upgrade and would be expensive to replace/repair; the shoulder rest can be left on which a great time saver as this is awkward to put on exactly right each time.After reading some other reviews we also bought a much heavier duty concert music stand to attach it to as the lighter folding/portable variety would be too unstable and likely to tip or be knocked over with young children in the household. We also liked that it didn't take up extra floor space as some of the other products do. For the outlay this is a brilliant idea as there is always safe home for the violin and bow to be left when having a break from playing. It will also travel with our child when they attend workshops/concerts, as it is small and simple enough to attach to most music stands.

I needed somewhere to hang my viola and bow when changing music and this is a high quality item which includes a wrap for the music stand to protect the backk of the violin/viola.Having found difficulty in standing for long periods, I also bought a drum throne which is much better than a chair when playing at home - could be useful on gigs?

Purchased these (with a Tiger Orchestral Sheet Music Stand) and together they have made my children's music practice run much more smoothly. No faffing about with cases, bows, etc as everything is ready and waiting. The music stand is very solid (wouldn't say it is easily portable) and the holder fixes beautifully to it. No danger of it falling over or off. Bought one initially and then two more as impressed with the first.

This is great. Fits my chunky music stand a treat and much easier to hang the instrument there while i am sorting out music books or putting rosin on my bow etc. Good quality item. Very happy.

Does what it says, slick and easy to use design. To be expected from such a good company as Konig&Meyer are..

I am delighted with this product and only wish I had bought one earlier :-)
