TWF 3mm Gloves

Very impressed with these gloves from TWF. My friend booked white water rafting for late January in Bala and I initially didn’t want to go thinking the water would be too cold. After being outvoted, I thought these would help keep my hands from freezing in the icy water. During the rafting, the gloves kept my hands dry and warm. I could see the jealously building up in my friends eyes as their hands started to become red raw from the cold. Unfortunately, I fell in and although water did enter the glove, the glove kept my hands warm throughout the 2 hour session. I’m so glad I bought these and I’m sure I’ll make good use of them in the future too. Well worth the price and good build quality. I bought a medium and they fit perfectly.

Upon receiving these TFW 3mm Gloves I was pleasantly surprised! I got these for scuba diving for picking things up in the water that I wouldn't want to touch with my bare hands.They are really thick and keep you hands warm which is great if your diving in cold water.They are made with a wetsuit/ neoprene material and have rubber grips on the palms which helps you to grip things.This is actually my second pair I got for a friend.He was looking for a good pair of diving golves and I got him these.He told me that they definitely didn't dissapoint him!! I would 100% recommend these if you're looking for a good pair of diving gloves for a great price.Thanks Amazon!

I was introduced to these gloves when I met two women swimming in the sea who spoke highly of them. The gloves are a very reasonable price so I ordered a pair. They arrived in good time . They appear well made ( seams are well stitched). They fit well and are reasonably easy to get on and off even After swimming. I would have given them five stars for fit if it was possible to tighten the wrist straps a little more. Having said that I never feel they are going to fall off when I am in the sea. (I am just aware they could be held more tightly around my wrist.) I swim in the sea nearly every day and wear the gloves for colder days. Today (15 Nov 2019) the sea temperature was 10 degrees and the outside air temperature around 5 degrees centigrade. I was swimming for 20 minutes and my hands did not feel uncomfortable either during or after the swim. For anyone new to open water swimming who doesn’t want to spend a fortune on kit I would certainly recommend these. UPDATE July2020 Love my gloves. I have continued my swimming throughout the year since November at temperatures down to 4 degrees . They are still in really good condition. I am wearing them in summer as protection against jelly fish! Highly recommend.

I bought these in an x-small and I’d normally take a small size glove, they fit me perfectly. I measured my hand for the guide before I bought. They make such a difference when I swim in cold outdoor water in autumn/winter- before my hands would be painful but now they stay warm! I chose these because they have the Velcro cuff because I thought I’d need that to keep them on and tight, but actually they fit so well that I don’t really need the Velcro bit. I only stay in the water about 7 minutes (I don’t wear a wetsuit) so don’t know how they fair for longer swims, but for me they have made a huge difference and let me stay in the water for longer and happier. I was tempted to get 5mm but these 3mm do the job well, so if your needs are similar to mine then 3mm should be enough.

These are tight but they need to be to keep my hands warm. They have done the job nicely so far but not gone below 10 degrees in them. I think they'll be fine as they fit so well. They are difficult to get off but this is OK as I need them close fitting to keep warm. No water gets in as there is no room for it! My hands are generally too small for normal gloves. I tend to buy magic gloves for £1 a pair - so my hands are small. I've used these a few times, and for some long swims (how long is a piece of string? Been in the water 45mins to an hour), and so far they are holding together nicely. No loose stitches, velcro staying intact.

Purchased 3 pairs. We are Absolutely thrilled with these gloves. Warm hands, no cut fingers. double velcro to wrists fabulous.10 stars. We have had 4 TWF wetsuits that are also fabulous. I will be looking for TWF boots next season because all the gear we have purchased from TWF over the last 3 years has been absolutely great. Well made, comfortable and enduring. To be able to climb out of the sea and grip on to sharp rocks was fabulous. They are great gloves. I can not recommend them highly enough.

These gloves are ok but probably better for surfing than swimming. They are big and bulky and quite buoyant so difficult to swim with. Even with XS size they are not close fitting or stretchy enough so fill up with a lot of cold water. But they are certainly better than nothing and are cheap, until there are any proper swimming gloves back in the shops. I ended up unpicking and removing the very rigid and huge bands held with Velcro for around the wrists as I was incapable of undoing them and getting the gloves off after swimming with very cold hands. The gloves are much better without them now that I am able to tuck the wrists under my wetsuit cuffs. They are still not warm enough but don’t let in quite as much water and are easier to swim with, and get off now they are lighter.

Excellent gloves for cold winter water swimming. Keep hands quite warm. I have large hands and XL fits well.

Per ora li ho usati solo una volta, quindi forse è presto per valutare la qualità e la tenuta dei materiali, ma a prima impressione molto buona. Molto comodi così come comodo è anche lo strap che chiude il guanto, non posso che essere soddisfatto dell'acquisto.

Ma fille fait du kayak et elle apprécie ces gants en tout points.

Gekauft habe ich mir diese Handschuhe zum Paddeln im Winter. Echte Paddlerhandschuhe gibt es ab 50 Euro aufwärts - und das war es mir einfach nicht wert. Bei unter Null-Grad bin ich eh nicht mehr auf dem Wasser. Meine Rezension bezieht sich auf eine Außentemperatur von 5 Grad und einer Wasser-Temperatur von 7 Grad. Die Schwächen gleich vorweg: Die Nähte lassen Wasser durch. Aber das sind nur geringe Mengen und solange man die Handschuhe nur Spritzwasser aussetzt, verrichten sie ihren Dienst ganz solide. Die 3-Millimeter-Stärke ist flexibel genug, um das Paddel gut greifen zu können. Der Anti-Rutsch-Belag ist zwar so-la-la, aber reicht aus. Die Fingerspitzen sind zwar anfangs etwas klamm, aber wenn die Durchblutung erst mal hochgefahren ist, verschwindet das schnell. Insgesamt bin ich mit den Handschuhen ziemlich zufrieden und kann mich bei dem Preis wahrlich nicht beschweren.

Mir gefallen die Handschuhe ansich gut. Qualität ist aber dennoch was anderes. Es zieht Wind in die Finger und es wird doch Recht frisch darin.
