I have bought this for and elderly friend. She will find it so easy to use. Just press the button to start and press the button to finish. Little chance of cutting yourself as as it rounds the sharp edges. So easy for people who have an issue gripping things or don't have the strength to use the normal can opener. This is the second one I have bought.Why did you choose this product over others?:So easy to use for the elderlySharpness:It opens the cans / tins effortless. At the same time rounds off the sharp edges, so there is less chance of cutting yourself on the bare edges.Functionality:Batteries last quite a long time it takes two AA's.

Good tin opener. Although quite noisy and takes a while. But it is good value for money. I would recommend if you struggle with opening tins with a handheld opener

The most amazing thing about this product is that Which recommends it . I can only assume it was after they were doing a wine testing !It is very difficult to contact the tin . Sometimes it starts then stops. Sometime it starts and won’t stopBad enough for someone with good hand control but as much use as a chocolate teapot for anyone infirmPlease do not waste your money!

I've bought this a few months ago, and for most of its time, it worked.Put it on, press button, whirr whirr, open can.It has always been an issue to get it to release the damn can lid (27 P Sainsbury's baked beans, chiefly). You literally have to wrestle with it because after opening the can, it keeps going with the lid stuck to the gears. I press the button, it stops for a microsecond and just keeps perpetually spinning. Today, I cut my hand on the open and "safe" can lid by HAVING TO GRAB IT to remove it and still spending actually twenty seconds wrestling it out of there.As of the last month or so, it also sounds pathetic and weak trying to grip and open the cans. I replaced the batteries when I first noticed this but it didn't improve anything. I have opened maybe 50 cans total in the months I've had it, so...I suppose if you need something for the short-term, get this. But me? Never again.
