I love these pens, nice to hold, write nicely and look great. My old one has been battered over the years so was time for a new one. I love watching people pick it up and try to use it. How lone before they realise they have to pull the pen to make it work??

Cross Edge Rollerball Gel Pen (Blue Barrel) made by Cross is one beautiful pen which I have to say it writes like a dream. The pen is as smooth and from the first letter, I had written I immediately could understand why so many people love this brand of pen workmanship. The pen mechanism is unique to me personally as I have never seen a pen which opens the writing nib like this one. To operate I simply slide the two ends of the pen (in opposite directions), this manoeuvre actually lengthens the pen which for me makes it more comfortable to hold as it balances better. I love this pen mainly because of the excellent writing experience, as the pen nib simply glides along the page with no disturbances as my writing continues. It is a pleasure to own and write with this pen. Cross Edge Rollerball Gel Pen is a beautiful pen inside and out which makes it very easy for me to recommend. This would make a lovely present for yourself or for someone you know would see the quality radiating out of this great sample of pen workmanship.

Chunky to hold but writes well and looks great. Had one before that was well used, they do get a bit battered but for the price its excellent. Good choice of inserts too as I'm not keen on smudging gel ink constantly!

Great quality pen, this is my third one! The other two were acquired by my daughter and a friend and are still in use. Solid to the feel and writes effortlessly. This is my everyday carry pen, it won’t let you down! 10/10 for a pen!

Excellent quality pen! Sadly my mum died recently- when registering her death the Registrar had one of these pens, which wrote beautifully. I love a good writer- some pens just make your handwriting better somehow and this is one of them! I asked her about it and knew I had to get one. I’m normally a fountain pen fan, but this is perhaps even better. The inks write smoothly and glide effortlessly on the paper. The retractable action is quite cool- had never seen it before. Obviously there are cheaper alternatives and the refills are fairly expensive, but you are paying for quality. Love mine! She had the blue one, and the coating had worn a bit so I went for the silver one as probably less likely to wear off.

A pen made with high quality material that feels very nice to write with and has a solid weight to it. The retractable casing to release the tip is a nice touch.

Der Cross Edge Rollerball ist ein wirklich schönes Schreibgerät, das durch seine dickere Form besser in der Hand liegt als die meisten anderen Stifte. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der innovative Ausfahrmechanismus: Man zieht an der oberen Hälfte des Stiftes, damit die Mine herauskommt, und drückt sie wieder zurück, um sie einzufahren. Dieses ungewöhnliche System ist nicht nur praktisch, sondern macht auch Spaß. Die Tinte ist dokumentenecht, und durch die Gelmine ist das Schreiben mit weniger Druck leichter und angenehmer. Die Qualität überzeugt auf ganzer Linie, und es macht Spaß, ihn zu benutzen. Ich habe mittlerweile fünf dieser Stifte gekauft, und alle Familienmitglieder, die einen bekommen haben, nutzen sie sehr gerne. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Blaue und schwarze Minen sind problemlos erhältlich, aber die angeblich verfügbaren roten und lila Minen sind leider nirgends lieferbar. Fazit: Dieser Stift ist definitiv die volle Punktzahl wert. Er ist nicht nur ein Hingucker, sondern auch ein sehr funktionales und hochwertiges Schreibgerät, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann.

I love using a rollerball pen. Bought two. Shame is that the ink runs out quite quick. And unfortunately the finger grip shaft (f that’s what you call it) cracked.

Impresionante. El trazo es medio, ágil y sin parones. El diseño es, sencillamente, fabuloso. Un acabado desenfadado por el color, pero muy elegante en cuanto a línea; además, el sistema de apertura es una maravilla, ya que el bolígrafo se extiende y contrae. ¿Que no te gusta como roller? Pues compras un recambio de bolígrafo para el cual es completamente compatible. Sinceramente, me parece un lujo poseer este bolígrafo de una marca tan exquisita como Cross, y a un precio, me parece a mí, fabuloso. Es ideal como un regalo para los amantes de la escritura.
