The Renaissance Complete Paperback – 3 Aug. 2009

This is a pretty amazing volume with 100s and 100s images of the pictures, buildings etc of the period, this is a very informative volume and will reward with many hours of reading and pouring over those amazing paintings etc. One of the best books I have found on the subject, though it is not a specialist book such as 'Garden of Love' etc in the period, it certain is amazing

an absolutely amazing book that covers a number of interdisciplinary humanities areas, from history to the arts to science etc of the renaissance. the imagery is amazing, and although the book is enormous in terms of its size, it is really well structured, easy to follow, and engaging throughout. it reviews the renaissance from many different perspectives and provides an excellent contextual understanding of this exciting period. i loved the unusual chapters on the development of maps, on emerging collections of coins and books and other quirky parts of the book, which are normally not included in such a book

Really nice book. It doesn't cover the topics in a lot of depth but it gives quite a detailed overview on each of them.

Nice book for Renaissance art. very new and well printed. not very detail but does coverd most important artists…

Excellent book - very good illustrations and well laid out - a "must" if this period interests you.

This is a lovely book and great value for the money. I had no problems with delivery and the book is in perfect condition. It's the sort of book that you just pick up and put down again, but never fails to delight and inform.
