Sega Mega Drive 1 and Master System 1 RGB Scart Lead

I'm 99% sure this cable works perfectly with my Mega Drive 1, but sadly my Samsung HDTV is a bit highly-strung when it comes to the console's RGB signal. Most of the time, the picture jumps up and down, especially when there's a lot of white in the picture (like the SEGA logo at the start of Sonic 1). If I repeatedly switch the TV to another signal and then back again, switch the Mega Drive off and on again and /or take the RGB out and reinsert it, eventually something clicks and the bouncing stops. I reckon my Samsung TV is struggling to track the video signal and have no reason to believe that this cable is at fault.

Worked with my first gen Mega Drive RGB out port but was a very tight fit and feels like it should push further inside the console! Once you've managed to push it in as hard as you can it works, it's also worth checking the pins are properly separated before pushing too hard! Picture quality is the best the first gen Mega Drive can output and is acceptable but I'd recommend trying a SCART to hdmi upscaler box with this cable if you have an HD flat panel tv for a better picture or plug into a Framiester if you have one of those.

Works as described! Very happy. My modern tv doesn't have an analogue tuner, so i couldn't use the rf switch box. I tried another rca cable but this didn't work either.This product however works beautifully.Recommended.

Works. The Mega Drive puts out a really poor video signal via composite cables, so this one was a big upgrade. Colours are vivid, sound is good and there's considerably reduced rainbow banding.My only criticism is the cable feels really cheap. It feels like it's about to fall apart. It hasn't fallen apart though, so I would still highly recommend this.

Its RGB SCART so it gives the best possible picture.I recommend running it through a HDMI Upscaler if youre using a modern TV, youll be blown away by the quality!

Acabo de recibir el pedido (todo bien en cuanto al envío). No recomiendo en absoluto este cable, no encaja bien, se suelta, hay que estar constantemente tocando el cable porque la imagen se va... Es una auténtica chapuza. Espero que si alguien lee esto se lo piense dos veces antes de comprarlo y valore otras opciones.

La verdad es que esperaba una calidad perfecta. Pero la imagen tiene un tramado que no debería. Algo similar a las scanlines pero verticales. Espero conseguir otro cable con la calidad perfecta.

Este cable si sirve para mega drive 1.Es simplemente perfecto.. No vayáis a comprar el que tiene tres salidas rojo blanco amarillo.. Ese no sirve.Gracias
