Fire Poi are Kevlar wicked heads, of various shapes and sizes, which are attached to chains and twirled or "spun" around the body utilizing arm and wrist movements. They are soaked in liquid fuel and lit on fire as a performance art form, creating beautiful circles of fire. Poi originated with the Maori people of New Zealand, and have grown in popularity throughout the world. Ball Bearing fire poi heads are cylindrical in shape and measure 2" tall x 2.25" in diameter. This simple yet durable design provides more value at a lower cost. Made with large, heavy duty ball bearing skateboard swivels which provide a smoother rotation than smaller swivels and prevent binding, and Kevlar wick for a long burn time and good flame size. Sold in pairs.
