If you want to drill small diameter holes then life is simple. Just get the right drill bit and drill away. What if you want a bigger hole? The usual trick is to try to run the drill bit around the edges of the hole to make it bigger. Problem is, it's hard to keep the hole symmetrical.This little set from Jelbo just might be the answer to the problem. They are cone shaped drill bits which can be used on wood or metal. You can drill a hole up to 32mm in diameter. They're quick and easy to use with perfect results every time.A little tip when using these. Work out the size hole you're looking for, let's say 22mm. Choose the cone most suitable for that size, in this case the largest one. Now wrap a little bit of tape just above the 22mm marking. Now when you drill you just keep going until you reach the tape marker. Makes it so much easier to do, as you can't see the marking when the bit is rotating.These cone bits are sharp and goes through wood like it's made of butter. Haven't tried it yet on any metals but I should imagine it would be just as easy. With the titanium coating these cones should stay sharp for a long time unless you have thousands of holes to drill.I paid just under £8 for the set of three which is excellent value. There are no quality issues that I can see.I hope you found my review helpful.

I needed to drill a 16mm hole in a thin steel van bulkhead and didn't want to make a mess of it using a conventional brill bit. I drilled a 4mm pilot hole with a standard bit then used one of these to enlarge it. It left a small burr on the cab side which I couldn't get to with the drill but two minutes with a curved file dealt with that. If I needed to do precision work or was using regularly I might consider a high quality set but they're four times the price, and for what I needed to do, these worked just fine.

As described, bought to cut hole in thin steel sheet, not used yet as got impatient with delivery.And wasn't sure if it would take a week or two, or a month or two, like some amazon orders.But can safely say this item was delivered quickly, and reckon it's a good tool to have in my amoury for cutting different size holes.

For accuracy and ease of use with stepped asapposed to complete taper cutter very good., although hard going through stainless steel sink drainer, got red hot, even with oil but burned it's way through eventually,

These cutters dulled very quickly, 4-6 holes in steel studs, the very kind of use they are supposed to be designed for. there is something wrong with the steel or the heat treating. Didn't even last through one job. Total waste of time and money these are returned.
