John R. Leonetti directs this horror prequel to 'The Conjuring' (2013). Mia and John Gordon (Annabelle Wallis and Ward Horton) are terrorised by supernatural forces when John thinks he has found the perfect gift for his wife and unborn child, a rare vintage doll dressed in a white wedding dress named Annabelle. The family's joy however is abruptly ended when they are invaded and attacked in their home by members of a satanic cult. An average scary movie!
It's an average scary film. Story line is good but didn't like the ending. Suitable for children over 15.

It was okay
It was okay, but it's nowhere near as good as The Conjuring. The plot was predictable and the acting was average. I didn't appreciate the Satanism and demon theme, which has become so sickeningly pervasive in media and 'entertainment'. I won't ever watch this again.

NEVER AGAIN!
Maybe I'm paranoid and it was a good film, but this keeps coming up on my suggestions more than anything else, along with constant emails about rating it!I'm one of these people that doesn't know what to believe when it comes to curses, spirits and scientific answers. For anyone vulnerable, they should not touch it. That includes possible mental issues or bad experience that could have been considered as supernatural.We don't know what's out there but I'm not having this in the house. I used 'Amazon watch' because I rarely watch films more than once these days.Its a good film, but the rating is just for that.Note: The real Annabelle doll is locked in a secure case at the Warrens.

A replacement for part of a set. Not as scary as the other Annabelle films
Although this film is a little older now its still good to watch. I just ordered a replacement as my old one was bad on picture quality. Glad that it had subtitles

Enjoyable Horor
Spooky and scary not for the kids, A doll that will have you guessing. A young couple, a wonderful surprise for the wife a perfect gift a vintage doll dressed in white. One night their home is invaded by satanic cult members, they attack the couple leaving blood and terror behind. They do something to the doll as well but that I wont tell you as not to spoil the show entirely. Suspense is flowing the story is great with the cast giving all I rated this an A grade plus, now I did my part it's your turn to see if you like Annabelle as well, just sit down with feet on floor (ready to run) try to relax and Enjoy.
