I rarely leave reviews, but these Strepsils are worth shouting about. I had a brutal sore throat that made swallowing feel like sandpaper, and nothing was helping — not tea, not honey, nothing. Someone recommended these, and I’m glad I listened. The blackcurrant flavor is actually really nice (not too medicinal-tasting), and the lozenges start working pretty quickly. Within a couple minutes, my throat felt noticeably more numb and the pain dulled way down. They don’t completely fix everything (not a miracle pill), but they gave me enough relief to eat and sleep without wincing. Love this product! Purchased this when we were in the UK - and am so glad that it is available thru amazon! The entire Strepsils line of lozenges are soothing and effective without bitter after-taste or artificial color residual. It was a "lifesaver"!

The taste is excellent, and the flavor is great. What's more, it can relieve my sore throat. If you have a dry, cracked throat, it can help alleviate the "cracking sensation". Of course, if you want a permanent solution, you should still see a doctor.

I had a horrible sore throat and these were the only thing that soothed my throat. I bought more just in case it ever happens again. I felt like I was dying but these made me feel half way human. Everyone should have these at home, just in case. And I’ve tried them all!!! They are a little pricier than normal cough drops but they aren’t normal. They are fabulous for sore throats!!!
