Avery Dennison Fine Tagging Gun Kit Gun+needle+1000 Avery Dennison Barbs

I bought this kit for the twice annual JBF consignment sales. You have to carefully read the instructions to install the needle but once that's done it's ready to go and easy to use. The needle does leave a hole, but so will any needle or pin or other object going through fabric. Best to use it in a seam (my local sale recommends the armpit) or the clothing tags. The barbs that come with it are working fine but may be a little long for clothing tags and are definitely too long for basting a quilt. It seems like any gun is going to leave a hole which was my biggest concern, so once that issue is understood it's a fine product for a good value.

I love this tagging gun! I used it for like 100 pieces of clothing and this worked great. The needle is sharp and small so it did not leave a large hole like some do. It has a little needle cover too. I've tried others and this works great. It arrived quickly and was priced well. I highly recommend it!!

I just started writing reviews thus the late review. I've had this Avery tagging gun since 2010 and have used it close to 1000 times without any problems (a few jams here and there). I know it's been about 1000 since I'm out of barbs and needed to purchase more. I posted a current picture, it still works and looks brand new. I went with Avery for the name brand. I've never used any other tagging guns so I don't know if this is better or worse but I know it will last a long time.

It feels kind of chintzy but actually it works great. I use it to label t-shirts through the neck tag and it is simple and easy. Great value for the money spent. I use occasionally to tag 25-30 items at one sitting. You do need gloves or thimbles or something to be sure you don't stick yourself, but I'm sure that's the same with every tagger probably. 4/25/2015 update - haven't been able to use it as a few months later it broke - husband keeps trying to fix it but won't work consistently but when it does, it is the only brand that truly has fine tagging. I bought a couple more and all broke after a few hundred uses - jammed - but with patience can get it to work again

It is what it is. A good price for a perfectly useable low-end tagging gun. It works and you receive a lots of tags. I think it was a great deal and did what was needed.

The gun's needle broke on the very first use!! I was getting ready to tag about 100 items for a consignment sale and was thoroughly frustrated to have it break on the first shot. I have used tagging guns before, many times, and misplaced my current one and decided to just purchase a new one as I was in a crunch to get my items tagged. SO disappointing, especially coming from a seemingly reputable brand such as Avery Dennison.

It works great....till the barbs run out! Seriously, I have ordered fine replacement barbs from 3 different vendors and each time they come in, they don't fit the gun well and jam. I wish this seller would also sell the same replacement barbs.

I love this tagging gun!! I have more than one and keep them supplied with regular tags, long and short as well two with fine fabric needles and short and long fasteners! It makes tagging items go smoothly and I know the tags are secure! Makes pricing a snap!

Not great. Hard to load. Tags kept getting stuck. Stopped using mine.

If your looking for a FINE NEEDLE gun this is perfect, The difference in the needle size is the difference in the size of the hole left behind. This gun is perfect for fine clothes where you want the hole to be a small as possible. It was easy to learn and do. They have a step by step U tube video if you need any extra help in learning how to set it up and do it. UPDATE: I HAVE USED THIS OVER 500 TIMES IN A ROW AND IT NEVER ONCE JAMMED, WORKED PERFECT EVERY TIME.

Does not come with the plastic tags, even though it says it does. Ordered a replacement, still no tags so returned both.

I love this.... I can get all the price tags on my clothes easily. Super easy to use and recharge. I would recommend this to who ever needs one
