The quality you'd expected from Park Tool
Expensive, but typical Park Tool quality, clean cuts of cables and cable outers every time, in addition to need and effective crimping of cable ends. Buy cheap, buy twice, I am confident this will significantly outlast cheaper cutters that I have purchased in the past.

Great bit of kit
Makes such a difference having a well made peice of kit for a specific job. Used to have other wire cutters which kept fraying the end of the cables but these are very clean. Pricey but worth every penny. Should last a while too

This tool is effortless in use!
The media could not be loaded. This tool was a present for my cycling-mad husband. He'd been struggling to cut cables when building and repairing bikes as regular snips just bend and mangle them.However, he says this Cable and Housing Cutter Tool makes the job 'effortless'. No more ruined cables! The tool slices through them in a second leaving the ends neat and ready to install.We highly recommend this tool. It made a most acceptable gift and is great value for money.

Does exactly what it should.
This tool might appear expensive for what is effectively a cable cutter, but it will cut without leaving any frayed edges each and every time. Also has a handy crumper for end caps too.The importance of not having frayed edges doesnt become noticable until you are doing maintenace and realise that your diy job is so much easier when the right tools are used. Park Tool are a highly recognised and trusted brand, I have several of their items and this lives up to their reputation.
