nice bit of kit
great bit of kit, not something you will use all the time but handy to have, can also get an adapter for these to take grinding disks, for that time a normal grinder wont fit in a space

A great cordless die grinder, limited by collet options.
I bought this to try out some wood power carving, and it's proved brilliant for this. Being cordless is a huge advantage as die grinders don't have extraction and I tend to do my carving outside. My only complaint would be a lack of collet options. I only have one wood carving burr that fits the 6mm collect. I've tried and returned a few sets that advertise themselves as 6mm, but in reality they're 1/4" or 6.35mm and don't fit. That 0.35mm make a huge difference...So, still on the look out for a 1/4" collet, or some proper 6mm shank wood burrs. Either would make me very happy.

Very handy tool
This is one of those tools you don't think you'll need till you buy one. Glad I did. It's so versatile. It's great for heavy duty hobby work and vehicle bodywork, It's great for finishing off welds and other metal and stone grinding jobs. Well worth having in your cordless collectionHighly recommended.

Adequate but limited
Instruction book says it will take a 1/4” shank as does the web descriptionWell it does but it is a pig to fit which was annoying as l needed a particular die which was a quality die of 1/4”So no more 1/4” dies will be orderedNo variable speed control on the tool which is a bit limiting and doesn’t appear to have a soft startIt can be pretty vicious when working on steel and really should come with a handle
