If you take Epsom salts by mouth you will have very heavy diarrhoea

Won't have thought that any gluten would be in Epsom Salts. Magnesium sulphate

Where does this salt come from? Is it mined or chemically produced and if yes what is the grade? Does it come in a white bag with no markings??

Originates from China. Don't know how it is produced and refined - but claims to be 'food grade'. The origin & chemical description is printed on the bag.

How can you verify this is food grade and safe??

It’s what it says on the sack. As I didn’t purchase this for anything other than bathing it was not my first concern. All I can say is it’s a beautiful quality product at a fantastic value for money
